Heatwave Interactive just announced that players who pre-order Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising through GameStop will receive an exclusive spellcaster minion, Morea, who protects players with her powerful spells of healing magic. Players who pre-order the game through any outlet will also get a week of early access to the game, as well as a tunic that grants a 5% exp bonus and a marble statue for their estate.

Gods & Heroes is scheduled to launch in North America on June 21. Players can purchase a one-month subscription for $9.99, a three-month subscription for $27.99 or a six-month subscription for $54.99. Dedicated Romans can purchase a year of playtime for $99.99 or a lifetime subscription for $199.99.

Heatwave Interactive just introduced Chris "Aegir" Cunningham as the UK community manager for Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising. Cunningham answered a handful of questions about his plans for European players, including live events, translated articles and contests. You can read the full Q&A after the jump.

Gods & Heroes Letter Outlines Plans for Launch

Heatwave Interactive recently announced that Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising will launch in North America on June 21. In response, Executive Producer Anthony Castoro has published a lengthy State of the Republic address to outline which features will actually make it into the game at launch.

Castoro starts his letter by stating that the Gods & Heroes team is still growing, since they realize launch is only the beginning. He says that they've decided to abandon their target of a full "M" rating, but they'll "continue to go edgier on the combat and storyline." He also confirms that the crafting system may not make it in at launch, but it will eventually be added to the game.

Prepare for Gods & Heroes Beta Week with New Video

The latest Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising beta week kicks off tomorrow, April 26, and runs through May 3. New keys will be sent out today, so head over to the official site and sign up for the beta if you'd like to participate.
