Beastlords Aren't the Same

Beastlords don't seem to have the same advantages as the other classes when at higher levels. See how Alan answers some questions on the Developer's Corner. The team has been thinking about these issues as well. I have a few answers for you. I'll put them in with your questions. Just a couple of Beastlord Issues that I would like to bring up. - Beastlords do not get the Hybrid ability to not have to wait for weapon delay to refresh before attacking after casting a spell. This ability was given to Rangers/Paladins/ShadowKnights a while ago. Were we overlooked? Or is this intentional? That got overlooked. We should have Beastlords delayed at the same rate as other hybrids when we can. How soon I don't know. - No level 50+ Disciplines. All Hybrids have 2 class specific Disciplines, except for beastlords. Are these in the works or will we never get any Class specific Disciplines? They are designed and in the hands of the programmers. With any luck (not that we have a lot of that…) they'll be in with the next patch. No, I'm not going to give any hints about what they are. - At level 49 Beastlords are given the Shaman spell Frenzy, this is a great AC buff with some nice stats but it does not stack with the Shaman spell Focus. All of the higher versions of this spell (Rage/Voice of Berserker) were recently changed to be able to stack with Focus, was this spell intentionally left out? Or was Frenzy forgotten? We'll take a look at it. This is one of those cases where some measure of 'hard coding' will be needed to make a change. It seems like a reasonable request, but with the dependence on coding time I can't possibly tell you when we'll have a chance to look at it. - Finally, Beastlords currently do not have any Class specific AA abilities in the 3rd Tier. All of the AA abilities that we do have are just general Hybrid stuff. Are there any Beastlord specific AA abilities in the works? These have not been designed yet. We intend to do so, time permitting. This, however, might take a little while. Thanks for taking the time to read this post, the Beastlord class as a whole is great and with just a few holes patched it will be even better. Zoka Thanks for the comments. Alan
