A new patcher is being tested on the test server for use with the coming Luclin expansion. Here's the patch notes:

October 23rd, 3:30pm ------------------------- *** New Test Patcher *** We're now testing a new patcher that will be released to the public upon launch of EverQuest: The Shadows of Luclin. Press the "Advanced" button to configure your options. You can also use this patcher to launch and access the live servers if you configure it to do so through the "Advanced" screen. It looks pretty nice, though the initial download takes a few minutes. While I'm sure it's still being worked on, it gives a fresh look to the ususal patch screen. Here's a picture: The options include options to configure the auto-download of files, to select which parts of the game you're patching, and to change whether or not you're using the test server after launching the patch process. --Illia
