Characters don't look that bad, infact i'm looking forward to getting the expansion just to see how all the new models look in game. I think the real problem is whoever is taking these screen shots, a bunch of armorless newbies running around infront of one texture backgrounds, kinda ruins it.

Admittedly, every new female models breasts are waaay too big, and what are the female cats doing in thongs? Wish the designers would just leave their personal fantasies out of Everquest.

I'm pretty disappointed with the character appearances I saw. I hear that there will be an option to allow you to see the EQ world and charaters the same way we always have when the before the expansion. If so I plan to be using this a lot. My real beef is that other folks wont see me the way I see myself but seeing how it's just a game I guess that wont matter much.

What's up with Tony the Tiger playing everquest? I had hoped that the cat-people would have some variety :(

in pic 15 is that a newb troll with the warrior epic???? and these character have way better body and of course their faces arnt as pretty... mainly cause their eyes, eye brows and mouth MOVE, and they have to put s skeleton under there and put a polygon and texture the poly... well back on the old EQ it was a flat poly with a pretty texture on it.... the one thing you always notice is the eyes (on just about every female model) is how pretty its textured...and now they have an 'eyeball' where that pretty texture was. so of course it doesnt look at pretty. makes it more real, i mean yeah would be great to have a land full of super models...but i mean COME ON???

Excuse me folks...am I the ONLY one who thinks the new Luclin character revisions look horrible?!!! Whoever is responsible should look at their work and FIX it. There is much better game character art out there, and I have NO intention of playing any buffoons like that Barbarian girl. I will keep the old graphics, thank you. No one likes ugly game characters.
