I figured I would pass this along for those of you who live in the Toronto area: -------------- I've got some news for you and your readers regarding my new book, The EverQuest Companion. For those who aren't familiar with it, it is a non-fiction book about the history of EverQuest and its genre, the nature of its design elements, the community that has come to surround the game, and the controversies it has inspired. The official book launch will take place at Worldcon in Toronto at 5:00 PM, August 31, in the Summit Room of the Convention Centre. Freebees and food are being provided by my publisher, Osborne McGraw-Hill. With luck, copies of the book (which will be very hot off the press) will also be available.
