Path to a Cleric Quick Notes

Level to start: 19

starting NPC: Zigaunt

Start Location: Gludin Village

Classes: Mage

1. You must be level 19 to begin this quest. It will change your profession from Mage to Cleric, but must be level 20 at the end.

2. Talk to "Priest Zigaunt" in the temple (nort-east) in Gludin. He will send you to retrieve 5 books for the church.

3. Travel to Gludio Castle Town and talk to "Trader Simplon" in the Weapon shop (coming in west gate on your left). He will give you 3 of the books.

4. Find "Priestess Vivyan" in the Temple (northeast corner) for the "Book of Vivyan".

5. Talk to "Guard Praga" (West Entrance) in Gludio Castle Town. He will give you his book only if you find his mother's Pendant, which was stolen by "Ruin Zombies". Go to the Ruins of Sorrow" which is a pit. I ran straight from the Castle town to Ruins and dropped down the cliffd to find them lined up along the cliffs that surround the stone walls of Ruins. They were green to me at 19, and you only to fight one.

6. Return the "Pendant to Praga", and he will give you the last book.

7. Return to Gludin and talk to "Priest Zigaunt" again. He will then send you to talk to "Lemonielle" (author of the books), on Talking Island.

8. Travel to Talking Island. Go to the Obelisk, and take the West road (toward the Elven Ruins). You will see some small ruins on the North side of the road. This is where "Lemonielle" is. Talk to him, and he will agree not to write any more books about the church. But he insists on sending his latest book to "Master Gallint" at the "School of Mages" on Talking Island (your starting place as a human mystic).

9. Go to "Master Gallint" and give him the book for the receipt.

10. Return to "Lemonielle" with the receipt.

11. Return to Gludin, and speak again with "Priest Zigaunt". He will tell you your quest is finished and to speak with the High Priest there in the Training Hall in order to change your profession to Cleric. If you are level 20 by now you may do so.
