Cryptic has released its newest Star Trek Online promo video, and this one focuses on fleet actions. Senior Game Designer Zeke Sparkes explains that fleet actions are epic battles with numerous forces on either side. According to Producer Daniel Stahl, these battles could be happening at any given time; they could be static fights around planets or be comprised of ships just traveling around the sector.

"As you're exploring the universe, you'll get notified where these large scale events are, so you'll know where you're needed," Sparkes said. Fleet actions are all based on a primary objective and are multi-tier events, so you'll need to work with other captains to emerge victorious.
