The Star Trek Online Web site has recently been updated with some posts that may not shed any specific light on gameplay in the upcoming MMO, but they continue to solidify the storyline and themes that will be found in the game. Kobayashi Maru Volume 7 gives us yet another no-win training scenario to ponder involving a Borg attack on a nearby world, and combat designer Steve Nix, a 13-year industry veteran, supplies fans with his own Kobayashi Maru solution in the Meet the Team segment released today.

Speaking of the Borg, perhaps the most interesting post for Star Trek fans is the supplemental entry to the Path to 2409 series which features an interview with Annika Hansen, formerly known as Seven of Nine, the Borg drone from Star Trek: Voyager. In the interview, which was conducted in 2385, Hansen explains why she left Starfleet and says that the Borg will definitely return, despite the fact they haven't been seen since 2378. "The Borg are not limited by the life spans of individuals. The collective lives on. What one knew, all know. What one remembers, all remember," she said.
