And we are live! Today marks the official launch date of TERA, although most players have already gotten a head start in the TERA open beta experience. Regardless, today's the day the TERA servers officially launch, and we'll be sure to share our first-hand experiences with you all next week.

Time to start requesting days off - TERA early character creation, the open beta, and Head Start takes off this month, as detailed on the site.
Beginning in a few days, it all starts with the character creation. The week after, the 19th, the open beta launches, and you get to use your newly created character in it. Then, the 28th, you get into the game for-real for your Head Start access granted by your pre-order purchase. The full schedule is behind the jump. Now is the time to get your copy because TERA is almost here!
Pre-order bonuses are starting to roll out for TERA, the upcoming high fantasy MMO. And here's one right now.
For buying from the ever-efficient website Amazon.com, you get a slick-looking horse, early access to the game, and in-game bonus items (namely a pair of earrings and a ring). All items that are exclusive pre-order bonuses. What's really nice is the horse's getup is entirely cosmetic - meaning it won't potentially get outdated by the advancement of your character's gear. Neat!
Beta Test 5 for TERA players! And as always, big changes hitting the server.
Outlined on the site, En Masse recaps the last beta's changes and moves forward into the upcoming ones. Most notably is the change to enchantment, removing the failure aspect, something that decreases a lot of frustration from the crafting skill. Also landing this new patch is voice work to many of the NPCs populating the world, something that is quickly becoming standard for MMOs. The rest is talk of more gear and skill options, sealing the random attribute in enhancing, and the new prologue zone that teaches behind the Island of Dawn. Lots of cool stuff for those in the TERA beta!
