This is a named mob in the Plane of War. For an overview of all nameds in the Plane of War, their PHs, map points, and mapped locations, see this quest entry.

At 80%, it splits into 3 mobs called "a fragment of Narikor". Two of these mobs are Level 103 at 100% health while one of them is Level 108 at 80% health. DPS the yellow-/cons until they lock health (this first set of adds locks at 60%) and then DPS the red-/con. Once all three mobs are at 60%, the named appears again.

This process repeats itself when The Heart of Narikor reaches 40% and again when The Heart of Narikor reaches 20%.

Between the named and all adds, you're looking at about 80 million damage needed to beat it.

This guy is buggy as hell. We fought him once (probably after someone else's try) and the adds and he locked, but then it took several minutes before he merged together.

On a second pop (after winning the first) it locked up while the adds were split and all of their health was locked both at 60 and 20. If you're going to do him, be prepared for the script to bug out for several minutes during the split and waiting for the pieces to join together, and to take that beating for awhile.

[quoteAt 70% he splits into 3 mobs. These mobs all have to be taken to 60% which is where their hp is locked. Once all of the mobs are at the locked hp then named will spawn again. Once again at 40% he will split into 3 mobs and you will have to get the 3 mobs to 20% health this time.][/quote]

To add to this - the main name never "despawned". It remains active the entire fight and maintains the same hps. at 70% two additional yellow con mobs spawn at 100% and then all 3 must be taken to the 60 mark (this seems timed as we had them all at 60 for awhile). before he returns to a single mob. Repeat once more at the 40 mark. Easiest fight of the three in the mines by far.

He is also leashed to his spot.
3 Mob Split - Tactics!

Noticed during a raid tonight - During the 3 mob split portion.
One mob may be immune to magick.
One mob may be immune to physical.
One mob (the main piece will have less HP than the other two) should not be touched until the former two reach their HP lock.

After taking him down a few times, we seemed to have a smooth pattern with taking down the other two, then catching the main piece up with the other two, the kill is easy with rinse and repeat of this pattern.

Just a few tips! Hope it helps!

He dropped Deathdrinker's Dirk of Darkness and Scuffed Traveler's Rucksack.
