Expansion! by Editor - Mon, 13 May, 2002 After the announcement that an Anarchy Online expansion pack is in production, we've been rather quiet about it. As we're quickly approaching E3, we will be putting up a new portion of the website dedicated to the expansion pack. Today, we have made the section available where you can have a look at the logo for the expansion "Shadowlands". In the near future you can expect to see updates, screenshots, concept art and other goodies as production of the expansion pack continues. With the decision to make an expansion pack came a few shifts in priority. Even though we will of course continue to patch new content into Anarchy Online on a regular basis, it has become a little more difficult to predict when certain features will be made available. As a consequence, we will remove the section of the website entitled "Envisioned Changes" as well as some of the information in the "In Progress" section. This doesn't mean that these things are no longer planned, or in development, just that it has become increasingly hard to say when, or how, they will come. We will instead focus on keeping you as updated as possible on the expansion, and the very next patch to come.
