Pendragon 1.50 J

Little realm ability re-spec clarification: ======================================= Dark Age of Camelot Test Version 1.50J Release Notes Tuesday, May 14, 2002 ======================================= This is a small update that fixes some issues that cropped up in yesterday's 150I patch. A NOTE ON RE-SPECCING Yesterday's version notes had a notice saying that Realm Ability Re-Speccing is in. Please note that this is not the "regular" respec that we promised last week - the ability to choose a Skill and re-spec is still planned, but we have a few more Strike Team (especially spell) changes to make to various classes before we can put the standard re-spec in the game. The respec that will be in 1.50x is for Realm Abilities only. As documented yesterday, you will have two chances to respec - once at 20th level and once at 40th. This will be standard for all players in the game - you will be able to respec Realm Abilities twice in your career, just like you will be able to respec two of your specializations twice in your career, when that is implemented. We did originally state that we would simply wipe everyone Realm Abilities and let them start over, but this method (of allowing players to respec Realm Abilities twice) makes more sense and lets players experiment with the system at different points in their careers. NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES - There was a bug with Purge that would, under some circumstances (most notably while rez sick) crash the zone of the player that was using it. This has been fixed. - In some cases, Purge did not have its 30 minute timer reset, which led to "chain purging". This has been fixed. - There was a bug when you respec Realm Abilities that the interface did not update to show you that you had your realm ability points given back to you. This has been fixed. - Realm Ability Falcon's Eye has been raised from 3% per level to 5% per level, to bring it in line with the other critical-hit buffing realm abilities. - Raging Power and Second Wind have been changed to have only one level (since they heal power and fatigue to full, respectively) that costs 10 points. - The documentation for True Sight has been changed to show that the ability can be used every 30 minutes, and it lasts one minute. This was never actually changed in-game, but the documentation was. Now, both are synched up properly. - Runemaster Epic Armor has been tweaked a bit to give it more of a "cloth" look.
