Star Wars Galaxies Newsletter

The latest Newsletter from the official Star Wars Galaxies Website has been released. If you'd like to sign up for newsletters, become a member! Here's a snip from the newsletter, which contains lots of new pictures, interviews, character models, and links to Star Wars Galaxies Fan Sites: "February may be the shortest month on the calendar, but it was one of the busiest for the Star Wars Galaxies development team. We're taking great strides in changing the game from a pretty tech demo of last year to a playable game with skills, combat, missions, and theme parks. One of our biggest milestones to date will happen in March and then we must ramp up for E3 in May. Things are very busy around here right now. The same held true for the web site in February. During the month we posted new screenshots, released another in-depth behind the scenes article and released new information. On March 12th, we had our third developers chat on March 12th with lead systems designer Anthony Castoro and creative director Raph Koster. The community received a ton of answers about professions, skills, and other game systems. In March, we are going to give the artists their chance to be put on the hot seat. On March 14th at 12 noon PST, we'll have the next Dev Chat in our series. Get ready with your art related questions for art director Jake Rodgers, character team lead Joe Shoopack and terrain team lead John Roy. Whether you are an artist in training who wants advice on breaking into the industry or a fan curious how we chose the look of the borgle, the chat should be fun and informative. Although I will be gone much of March (shh, don't tell anyone, I'll be on my honeymoon :) ), I'll make sure some new screenshots and another behind the scenes article make it up in the second half of March. ~Kevin “Q-3PO” O’Hara Community Relations Manager" So, sign up!
