Star Wars Galaxies Review at Happy Puppy

Happy Puppy has posted up a review of Star Wars Galaxies from the E3 demonstration. Not surprisingly, they were impressed with what they saw. Here's an excerpt: Real-time lighting casts full-motion shadows that stretch and fold over textured surfaces as fully animated NPCs roam about with an unsurpassed level of realistic detail. The body and facial gestures of an enormous reptilian creature walking about on one of the levels appeared to be devoid of polygonal blemishes. It looked like a flesh and blood creature, and a scaly, muscular one at that, slinking around as it would in the real world. Models are also built to scale, so that a humanoid character that towers over a small frog is in turn realistically dwarfed by an Imperial AT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport) walker. Walk beneath the AT-AT, and look up to watch its jointed robotic legs as it traverses the desert. Be careful not to get squashed. You can read the entire review at this link.
