FINAL FANTASY XI Update (Jul. 19)

Wow, this thing is huge. [Event-Related] *A new chapter has been added to "Chains of Promathia." *A new quest called "The Fellowship Quest" has been added. Upon completion of this quest, the player will receive an item used to call an NPC. -The NPC may not be called during NPC escort quests, but may be used along with beastmasters' pets, summoners' avatars, and dragoons' wyverns. -The NPC may only be called in certain field areas. -The NPC may fight monsters, gain experience, and level up with the player. -A player fighting with an NPC fellow will receive only 70% of the usual experience points gained for solo battles. -The NPC may be called only when there are less than six members in the player's group. A party may contain a maximum of three NPC fellows, along with the three players who have called them. -If the NPC's level exceeds that of the player, its status will be adjusted to match the player's level. -The NPC's equipment will occasionally change after fighting several battles. -The NPC will leave if the player: -temporarily logs out to PlayOnline -logs out -enters a different area -is KO'd -All NPCs in a party will leave if the party attempts to increase its total number of players and NPCs to seven. *Several new quests have been added, including: -A quest in which the player may acquire headgear that resembles various beastmen -Rematches with mammets and the Mithran sin hunters And more! *An NPC that tells the player's fortune regarding titles and other "elements" has been added in Mhaura. *Character title selection has been changed in the following ways: -It now costs less gil to change a player's title. Also, it now costs no gil at all to check the player's list of available titles. -The NPC bard that changes player titles will now sing out the player's title just before changing it. -After changing the player's title, the NPC bard will sing out the new title. Nearby PCs will also be able to hear the new title. -The player will now have the option to have a random title selected for him or her at no cost once each day (Earth time). -Titles earned by defeating NMs are now available for selection not just at Selbina and Mhaura, but also at Kazham and Rabao. *A chocobo riding game has been added. The player must deliver a chocobo from the chocobo stables where the quest was offered to a designated nation. *Players are now able to talk to an NPC and check the remaining time until they are able to reenter the battlefield for the ENM quests "Pulling the Strings" and "Automaton Assault." *"Return Ring" and "Homing Ring" have been added to the list of items that may be earned by exchanging conquest points. *If a player has completed the quests to get a pair of Mannequin Pumps or a Minstrel's Dagger but disposed of the item he earned, the player may now reacquire the item at the same place he attained it. *Mythril Plate Armor has been added to the list of equipment that may be stored as a key item. *A new NPC that will trade items for treasure earned by defeating Lumorian monsters has been added. [Battle-Related] *Players are now able to earn experience from monsters of a wider level range than previously possible. Experience points earned by defeating "decent challenge" and "easy prey" monsters will also increase in some instances. *Experience chain bonuses in level-restricted areas of Chains of Promathia are now determined by the level of the player while in that area, rather than the player's actual level. *Monster locations have been adjusted, particularly in Chains of Promathia areas. The following areas will be affected: Bibiki Bay, Uleguerand Range, Attohwa Chasm, Newton Movalpolos, Promyvion – Holla, Promyvion – Dem, Promyvion – Mea, Promyvion – Vahzl, Lufaise Meadows, Phomiuna Aqueducts, the Sacrarium, Riverne – Site #A01, Riverne – Site #B01, the Garden of Ru'Hmet, Ro'Maeve, the Boyahda Tree, the Den of Rancor, the Shrine of Ru'Avitau, Kuftal Tunnel *The damage and accuracy of a player's ranged attack are now calculated based on the distance of the player from the monster. This determination varies from weapon to weapon, as does the ideal distance for maximum damage. In addition, the higher the monster's level is with regard to the player, the less damage will be dealt with a ranged attack. *The player's enmity now decreases when a shadow image created by Utsusemi is absorbed by an attack. *Weather will no longer have an effect on the distance a player can be detected for monsters that detect based on the use of magic. *Several new notorious monsters have been added. *Creatures summoned by monsters (excluding elementals) have had their names changed to "(Monster's name)'s Avatar" for consistency. *The strength of monster techniques has been adjusted, particularly in Chains of Promathia areas. *A player who is KO'd, revived, then while still in a weakened state KO'd again will now, after a second reviving, temporarily experience a weakened attack and accuracy loss for magic and ranged attacks. *Before the update, a player who fought a monster without using auto-attack would retain his claim on the monster, even if he was KO'd in battle due to poison, etc. This has been fixed so that when the player dies, the monster becomes unclaimed. *Before the update, a monster that was claimed by a party or alliance would occasionally go unclaimed when magic or a weapon skill was used on the monster as the monster moved out of range before the magic or weapon skill could strike. [Item-Related] *Trading a wijnruit and 99 ninja tools to a certain NPC can now earn the player a toolbag. This item may be gathered in stacks of twelve, essentially increasing the player's ninja tool inventory capacity twelvefold. *New synthesis recipes have been added. *Prices at guilds have been changed to reflect the amount of each item the guild currently has in stock. The cost may rise to a maximum of five times the original price. *Some of the treasure items earned from notorious monsters in the Boyahda Tree have been changed. *The way that the following items are acquired has been changed: Archer Ring, Leaping Boots, Emperor Hairpin, Peacock Charm In addition, players may receive an EX/Rare or EX item with the same attributes from the monsters who previously dropped each of the above items. *The effects of the following items have been altered: Poison Potion, Venom Potion, Paralyze Potion, Sleeping Potion, Silencing Potion, Blinding Potion, Vitriol, Instant Warp, Bastok Mines gate glyph, Bastok Markets gate glyph, Port Bastok gate glyph, Eastern San d'Oria gate glyph, Western San d'Oria gate glyph, Northern San d'Oria gate glyph, Windurst Waters gate glyph, Port Windurst gate glyph, Windurst Woods gate glyph, New Year's gift, Cantarella, Black Drop, Muting Potion, Invitriol, Warp Cudgel, Trick Staff II, Treat Staff II, Teleport ring: Holla, Teleport ring: Dem, Teleport ring: Mea, Teleport ring: Vahzl, Teleport ring: Yhoat, Teleport ring: Altep, Memento Muffler, Gargoyle Boots, Zoolater Hat, Root Sabots, Aries Mantle, Anubis's Knife, Oscar Scarf, Kinkobo, Carpenter's Belt, Blacksmith's Belt, Goldsmith's Belt, Weaver's Belt, Tanner's Belt, Boneworker's Belt, Alchemist's Belt, Culinarian's Belt, Fisherman's Belt, Counter Earring, Tactical Ring, Wing Gorget, Healing Feather, Spirit Lantern, Astral Pot, Homing Ring, Return Ring, Absorbing Shield, Tavnazian Ring, Ducal Guard's Ring, Maat's Cap, Kingdom Stables Collar, Republic Stables Medal, Federation Stables Scarf, Cursed Beverage, Cursed Soup *The item "Timepiece" has been added to the list of special items a player may receive 100 days after participating in the Vana'diel Adventurer Recruitment Program. *The following item names have been changed in the English version: Panzer Mask -> Panther Mask Panzer Mask +1 -> Panther Mask +1 Amemit Mantle -> Amemet Mantle Amemit Mantle +1 -> Amemet Mantle +1 *The item name "Comet" has been changed to "Little Comet." *An attribute of the following item has been changed: Darksteel Pick +1 Delay:312 -> Delay:303 [System-Related] *Region Info may now be viewed from all areas. *Messages may no longer be sent using /tell to a player on the user's blacklist. *Along with the introduction of the Fellowship Quest, players may now combine text commands with to target their NPC fellows and execute their desired actions. Only the player who called the NPC may target it using . [Other Content] *The following changes have been made to Ballista. -If one side of an official match is low on members, entry into that force is now possible even if a match is already underway. In this case, experience may still be gained if certain conditions are met, just as if the player had entered the match from the start. Also, if a player enters during a match, both forces will receive a message notifying them of the new entry. The player must have the following in order to enter a match already underway: -A Ballista License -Enough gil to enter the match -The minimum level required for the match being played -A player who has just entered an official match or a match in Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba that was already underway will temporarily be placed under "Preparing for Battle" status. -Players may now borrow the key items "Ballista Earring" and "Ballista Band" free of charge from the Pursuivant in Ru'Lude Gardens. Ballista Earring: When in possession of this item, the player will receive information about the next Ballista match and the entry registration time when entering San d'Oria, Bastok, Windurst, or Jeuno from one day prior to the match (Vana'diel time) until the end of the entry period. Ballista Band: When in possession of this item, the player will be given the choice of whether to keep or throw away the first Petra he quarries. Ownership of a Ballista License is not required to borrow the above items. The player may return the items simply by speaking to a Pursuivant. -Players are no longer able to adjust Petra selection settings in Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba. The player will be given the option of what to do with the first Petra quarried only when in possession of the new key item "Ballista Band." -The following rules have been changed from special rules to standard rules. -Camp locations will change when the number of participants in a match is 40 or less. -The number of Rooks will be reduced to two when there is a significant difference in the number of players on each side. -Players will now receive experience points for participating in an official match. -The system of "Open Entry" for official matches, in which all adventurers were allowed to join the force with the smallest number of participants, has been done away with and replaced by a system called "Temporary Entry," in which players may join a force regardless of allegiance. However, the player's entry is temporary, and similar to Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba's "Auto-Balance" feature, the players may be redistributed for balance when the match begins. -In Ru'Lude Gardens, the player will be able to view Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba's reservation status. Reservations for the next two days (Earth time) will be shown. -The NPC Tillecoe will now inform the player of the match's level restriction when a match at Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba is set to allow general participation. -Temporary items will now be distributed at the start of official matches held at the Pashhow Marshlands. -A section of the Ballista rulebook that is read out by the Pursuivant has been changed. -The rate of success for Foe Lullaby and Horde Lullaby has been lowered for players with bard as a support job. -A limit has been imposed on the amount of HP that can be absorbed by Bloody Bolts' HP Drain effect during Ballista.

This is from an earlier post -- fyi -- it appears that your NPC starts at lvl 30 and will only be out for 30 min to begin (speculating that the more you use it, the longer it will stay out).

hope this helps! This is the info I have compiled:

Part 1
Talk to Luto Mewlirah in Upper Jeuno just past the AH and the church.
She asks you to help her investigate people in Jeuno who carry mirrors.
This is where you choose your race/gender of your NPC friend.
When you go around Jeuno, certain NPCs like Red Ghost in port, and Akta in Ru'Lude Gardens will ask about the characters physical features. "Was her hair up in a bun? Was it this color? etc etc". This is the CHARACTER CREATION process cleverly disguised, because this will determine how the NPC will look.
When you've talked to at least one, talk to Bheem the NPC at the gate to Battalia Downs in Upper Jeuno for a cutscene. After that, go talk to Luto again for a Silver Ingot.

Part 2
Zone out of UJ and come back to Luto for another cutscene involving a little girl that's gone missing. Go talk to Bheem and he says your NPC friend went to Eldeime Necropolis after talking to that same little girl.
Go to G-8 entrance to Eldeime Necropolis in Batallia Downs
F-9 in Eldeime Necropolis is a ???, talk to it to trigger NM battle. You do the battle with your new NPC friend. It was REALLY easy since your NPC friend will help quite well.
After NM fight return to Upper Jeuno and talk to Luto for another cutscene. After the cutscene, zone out of Upper Jeuno and come back and talk to Luto again for another cutscene.

Part 3
You and your NPC friend are sent to Sandy to find another magic mirror.
Talk to Portaire in Cargo Room B of Port Sandy for a cutscene.
After that, head to Ghelbsa Outpost to the hut.
You'll get a BCNM fight called "Mirror, Mirror"
The fight is 1 on 1 capped at level 40 against a Carrion Dragon, and isn't too hard even if you stroll in without appropriate gear.
Halfway through the battle, your NPC friend will join you to help you finish things off. After the battle, head back to Jeuno and talk to Luto. After the cutscene you'll get the "Signal Pearl" and the ability to call on your NPC friend in future battles. Happy hunting!

Edit: As far as I know, you get no say in the job of your companion. Mine is the Mithra named Raka Mhaimov, she wields a sword and shield and has Provoke. I suspect she may be a Paladin or a Warrior, but I will have to conduct more testing to see.

Also: Didn't realize there was another compilation up when I wrote this, sorry...

Edit2: The AI so far is fairly intelligent, and managed to keep hate during the Dragon battle despite Ramuh whacking away with the best Bloodpacts I could dish out. At the very least, the AI knew to keep hate off of soft ol' me. ^_^

Edit 3: Big update! If you go to a Rendesvous Point you can call your NPC friend to chat. Just talking apparently brings up idle chat about past events. You can see their level and "fighting style" (Mine says "Shield") or you can ask them to tell you what they're doing, when their HP is low and when their MP is low. At the moment, I cannot determine if you can change their fighting style, but I imagine you can.

Thanks for the awesome info! ^_^

One small addition: You need to reply positively to one of the npcs in Part 1 before you talk to Bheem. The three I know of are (1) Red Ghost - Port (walking back and forth across your path on your way to the AH), (2) Kuah Dakonsa - Lower (Mithra outside Merry Minstrel), and Akta - Ru'Lude (zone by walking up the stairs and he's straight ahead). Are there any others?

Fun quest!

Isn't Leeping Boots used for crafting Winged Boots? I'm fairly sure that they are. Therefore, does that mean that SE will make Winged Boots rare/ex as well or leave them open for trade because their way into this world is controlled?

Also, since there are two ways of obtaining items of Leeping boot stature, do you think that Gilfarmers will still camp the rare/ex items as well as thier new counterparts in an attempt to drive the price for the new items up?

# Jul 20 2005 at 10:59 AM Rating: Decent
I'm pretty sure (judging by the fact that if you try to upgrade a +1 item into something it will tell you that combination of materials is incorrect) that ONLY the leaping boots can be made into winged boots ... I doubt they would make it rare/ex and able to be turned into another item... the idea is to stop gilsellers

Ok then don't you think that the gillsellers will continue to farm leeping boots then craft them into winged and sell them at high prices as well, it turns into the exact same scenario as before except it introduces a middle man that is not that hard to overcome ie. instead of just camping the boots you now have to camp then craft them into winged then sell

Ok i get it now, the leeping boots are found on a different mob/bcnm/etc. but are not rare/ex however, whatever dropped them will now drop a new item that IS rare/ex i understand now and hope that the boots are gained through a quest or something not too tremendously hard

what I meant is that the new drop... "Bounding boots" cannot be crafted into winged boots... because trying to craft a numinous shield (oak shield + 2 ancient lumber) will not work if you have a solid shield (oak +1) so why would winged boots work with Bounding boots? it's a completely different ingredient, and most likely a dead end, not upgradeable...

The only thing I can see happening in terms of people camping this is trying to up the prices on leaping boots.... but honestly... that would take a lot of time, and they'd probably make more money somewhere else, so msot likely it won't happen. >:p

I hope I was clearer this time ><
What's wrong with NPC fellow
# Jul 20 2005 at 10:49 AM Rating: Decent
I called a NPC fellow in Qufim Island

after few fights, apparently "she" is far away from death, actually "she" killed the mob, but right after "she" killed it, she left, i was like
"wth?!"

Anyone know what in God's name happened to the NPC fellow, according to my knowledge, the NPC fellow only leaves when I'm KO'ed, which I was not; or I zone into other areas, which I didn't; or I log out, which I so didn't.

So, seriously, WTH is wrong with the NPC fellow, wasted my 20hrs.... jesus...

My friend did the same thing, he talked to his NPC ans she said "Are we done already" he then ran off, not knowing she wouldn't follow and she dismissed. Maybe thats what you did?

If anyone knows how to "work" these NPC's plz let me know >.>

Got through the update, all 100% done. POL crashes somehow after FFXI update, after like 4 hours of downloading... so I leave it alone. Open computer this morning to start re-downloading, and I get "Previous version updated failed. Please re-install FFXI." Nooooo! Do they know how long it takes to reinstall FFXI and CoP and download all the updates? Let alone on a school T-1 connection... *sob* Wretched SE, must you torment me... OH well. Time to plug this thing in and leave it on overnight ><

Ok, I need more information on the Lupe NPC for the fellowship quest. I talked with her in Upper Jeuno and all she keeps mentioning is curling her whiskers, it being busy, etc. and to run along.
... tried zoning, did it as a lvl 44 whm... maxed Jeuno fame.. nothing..
hopped on mule .. Bam! got it no probs.. less Jeuno fame by far, and lvl 38 on mule...
however mule is rank 5.
One other difference is that my main is still unfinished on an escort quest...
can anyone tell me what I need to do to start this quest for my main.. I could care less on doing it for my mule.

I think there was a problem with both the POL (viewer) and the FFXI servers. When I 1st logged in on the morning of th 19th at about 630am I got no problem with the POL viewer update on Bismarck (ps2) then ran into the standard update madness on FFXI. So I went to work, came home and same story. I tried logging off of POL and coming back on but that wasn't happening either. So I went to celebrate my birthday by eating bad food and drinking many alcoholic beverages. ^^(for which, I am suffering greatly) I came home, put on FF origins and played some FFI, passed out and woke up this morning and started the download. I left with it at 19% and rolling along nicely with less than 2 hours remaining (on a cable connection too >.< ) but hold no illusions that when I come home that I will have been booted at 20%. /hopega is strong though.

ok you must be an idiot if u think making 4 items Rare/ex will stop the gillselling punks, i was just camping the monster signa for my brd, and guess what LITTERGIRL (anyone on siren server knows who this is) claimed it right in front of me, gillselling biotch, im so pissed right now but w/e.. gilsellers are not going to stop until people stop buying gil, and until people ON the game stop raising the prices and stop paying 1mill gil for a ******* item

gil sellers are particularly difficult to stop because they create their own market. they control the stock on the majority of the rare items people value most. because they control the stock they are able to set the price. by setting the price higher and higher they drive more and more people to buy gil. it's an ideal monopoly.

the easiest way to break their hold on the market is simply limit their ability to get the drop. for example if you kill an nm (or any creature that has a heavily sought after drop) you have, for lack of any specific number, say a 10% chance to get the drop. once you get the drop your account/character is flaged and you now only have a 1% chance to get the drop. this flag would degrade over time, say 1-4 months, thus not forever hindering your chances but preventing you from time effectively gaining multiple drops. if that's not enough simply create a dual or tri flag where if you get the drop while the first flag is in effect a second flag drops your chance to .1% and so on. flags could carry into parties as well to prevent gilselling groups from monopolizing an area.

the basic idea is any one character or, perhaps better, account would only be able to gain (with a reasonable amount of effort) 1 drop from 1 nm every say 4 months. and of course you wouldn't have to apply it to every nm (or highly prized monster) - i.e. you would never apply it to an nm that controls a quest or job drop.

anyway that's my thought.
RE: ??
# Jul 20 2005 at 8:14 AM Rating: Decent
Yeah, and then gilsellers would have like 50 characters for each one of them...

Last I checked, having an account for FFXI with one character costs 12.95/month. Buying 1 million gil costs about 50. A good gil seller will be selling about 20 million gil a month, see a problem here?

Another problem with that is that most good gilsellers don't like camping NM's for the majority of their cash. They realize that rare drops are something that are rather beyond their control, as SE can alter the drop rate or the drops themselves, as they have just proven. In addition, competition from players that merely have a better connection speed can affect them negatively. Ever try camping the Spook from under one of the regulars there? It's annoying that us normal guys have to shell out about 100k to get the mantle, isn't it? Imagine now that you were a gilseller making 20 million gil ($1000 dollars for those not good at math) a month on these, and a JP with a T-1 line moved in on "your" territory. How would you feel then? Probably outright murderous rather than merely annoyed.

A good gilseller goes for farming moderately priced goods that sell fast and in large amounts (silk comes to mind). The reason being that without making sweeping, game-wide changes, their livelihood is safe.
RE: ??
# Jul 20 2005 at 7:26 AM Rating: Decent
There will always be some gils buyers because they are not interested in questing, farming and making gils.

But SE could make some effort cause in jeuno on my server daicon player has made 10 hums with almost the same name selling items in bazars, it is a gils seller and it is obvious but SE does nothing.
RE: ??
# Jul 20 2005 at 7:23 AM Rating: Decent
/em agrees.

All this is doing is making it so people can reasonably attain "Bounding Boots," "Empress Hairpin," and "Peacock Amulet."

On Alexander I think Leaping Boots were 800k, Emperor Hairpin was like 1.4mil, and Peacock Charm was at least 20mil.

SE just wants people to get people the hell outta Pashow and Zi'Tah.

And on Alex the well known gilsellers are Mswoki, the Apples, the Babys, and the Lifes. The last three groups are so generic that I'd bet all servers have them.
RE: ??
# Jul 21 2005 at 2:46 AM Rating: Decent
kinda funny, on Asura Leaping boots costed 1.3 mil and emp. hairpin 1.7 mil, then after the update, they both went down to like 900k... just a thought to u all

Yes! It was downloading the files and at some point (about 70-90%) Avast Virus Scan warned me that one of the files was infected with Uruguay 6/7/8.

I did some googling but I can't find any useful information on the Uruguay virus. I do however suspect that the file is really not at all infected and that Avast is making a mistake... It has happened before. I will try to ignore it next time but at the moment I'm getting POL-1160 errors again... *sigh* 48+ hours without ffxi... :(

Ok... I can't really recommend this solution but here's what I did.

I finally got rid of the POL-1160 errors. When the update started I disabled my Virus Scanner.

10 minutes later I'm ffxi is all updated and I'm finally able to play my beloved game again.

I just hope that there never really where a virus. ;)

# Jul 20 2005 at 3:05 AM Rating: Decent
This is not a rant. Has anyone else had a problem of logging in their characters. I have finished the update. I have now tried all my content IDs and I keep receiving the message "error code: FFXI-2003" right before I see the inside of my Mog House. Any suggestions since tech service works the same time the rest of us do and are not up at the moment. Thank you for all help.

i have a old Dell 4100 Deminsion computer With Window home XP hooked to a Motorola Cable Modem which is hooked to a WRT54G Wireless Router which runs a wireles connection to my Wireless-B Game adaptor soon or later upgrading to the G Version which is hooked to my PS2 which is where ffxi is installed on k enough about my set up now to talk about what i came here to say, i connected to playonline and Recieved the playonline update then i proceeded to the game FFXI but couldn't connect to it and got the no connection errors that they where telling everyone about, so i didnt recieve the FFXI update but recieved the play online update so after trying several time to connect the ffxi game with no progress i finally decided that i would play Tetra Master til im able to get to ffxi but i couldnt enter tetra master either, it gave me the same error no connection/dis'conected messages as ffxi did so i cant get into either game but im still able to connect to the PlayOnline part of it' it has only been 2 days 4 me so far at Iowa state central & Canada Standerd time, i wonder are taking there hardware servers completely apart to piece's\ Peace by Peace and then working on them after there done thet finally will put them back together again LOL

I don't think that post has a single period...

/c post

No, it doesn't o.0

I count emoticons as punctuation since it would look awkard with a period next to one.

does anyone ever wonder is SE ever looks at forums like this to see what their major problems are? if so you' think with all the complaints/advice people give on them SE would figure out that there is a problem....

DDoS SE opened the door
# Jul 20 2005 at 1:36 AM Rating: Decent
Dec. 19, 2004 SE implemented Microsoft's Generic Host feature. In turn this opened any computer up to be used to attack the servers. these attacks did not start before this time and have very conviently been used to cope with any problems to keep people from getting upset.

Fact: Dec. 19, 2004 Lost Pol, Dec. 21 call POL ask what they did Sat. No answers go strip your network and try again(How Lame)

Fact: Jan. 04, 2005 Finally complete bring up the whole network redone, Start implementing security measures. Finally reach the above process oops bad idea no POL.

Don't be upset with the people making the attacks be upset with SE for seemingly opening the door for them.

dont be mad at the guy who shot your seven month old daughter, after getting drunk of cheap whisky, with a gun he bought from the trunk of an old run down brown 1990 buick using money earned by selling cocaine to minors outside a local junior-high, be mad at the miners who got the raw iron ore which went into the gun.

You kind of miss the point. But ok I understand what your saying.

If SE had ANY consideration for thier customers you would think they would put a LITTLE more effort into thier problems.

yah, i do get what ur saying. i dont necessaraly agree, but i understand it. i was just havin some fun. anyways i, personally, think they are both to blame but the attackers are the ones who deserve most of it. I feel its kinda like blaming the US for 9/11 because the towers werent strong enough.

Towers... please dont bring up that crap, that has nothing to do with this... some idiot produced this virus(real) only the thing square can do is give us updates, they ARE trying tehre best to fight it, but the DDoS program will win, the door was ope n because of THird Party Programs, Hence why you arent racing for a gobbie hat about now. When people cheat, tehy are opening little doors into the game, of sure its fun to have a bot who can fish for you or you can check your **** filled emails, the point is you guys are really bringing down square, tehy spend countless hours thinknig of how to make this game fun, rather then get killed by lozers in a forest, and lose alll your crap, tehy say, hey you can duke it out, just not here, (hence) Ballista, yea in the past few posts i made, i said some messedup stuff about square, but i dont hold it against square, you guys are just blowing steam because of something you all somewhat caused, it is said, cheating is everyones end, but everyone wishes to protest, wanting sin,.....well in the worlds of all Spira....... SIIIIINNNN!!! yes you guys produced a sin of your own, a monster that will keep coming back, your own sins or hate,(cheating/hacking/botting)in the future try to hold back teh drama, this isnt a play, its just a game. I said my peace.

And how may I ask did I cause thier usuage of a service they implemented before these DDoS attacks that seem to have given them a doorway?

Actually your post doesn't make much sense Fact still Remains SE DOES NOT look at it's customers properly otherwise you wouldn't have the problems you do or you COULD get the correct information when it is needed.

Last Post closed thread when people aren't making sense of what they type. Anyone answering this thread good or bad thanks for your input.

hmmm is that so... welp frankly your just another simpleton. If you couldn't understand common sense, Square was trying to make the process of file transfur more smoother, as i posted... you just look at bits and pieces with your tiny mind and say huh?! I can stop cavemen from trying to learn amazing new works so i say good day.... problems, are you Mr/Miss/It god of the game nothing can goe wrong for you... blah, i didnt even mind a bit over the wait, i just played Phantasy Star online BB, it passed the time, i was happy, while you were pounding on that mouse or controller button saying OMG OMG DOOOOODDD WORK WORK! BLAH ....oh well back to my good old smut... doesn't take a rocket scienist to see how cruel foolz are to square, its there first time really around the online bizz, give them a break (OH STEP UP) okie dokie... well give them time....because good things come to those who wait.... Kthxbi poz3r

its more like "dont blame the burgler for walking in, blame the neighbords for not building outside walls" in which case it WOULD be the neighbor's fault
