Yay for Rogue classes!

It seems the world-wide rogue population of DAoC will have a few hefty additions to their arsenal next patch. This pleases my Lurikeen Nightshade & Ranger on Lancelot =)
Even though our development team is being devestated by a nasty (Biological) virus, we're planning on a big development week. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, we will be putting new versions up to Pendragon for testing. These versions will contain the features that we've been talking about for the last month or so. This week on Pendragon, you're going to see mid to high level assassins climbing keep walls, basic shapeshifting, flaming weapons (and other effects too), Bounty Points that you can accrue based on your Realm Points and can then spend at special Bounty stores to purchase special items only available there, and some new abilities to spice up some melee classes that need them. Of course added to this is the continual addition of new quests to the game, fixing problems in current quests, modifying and enhancing monster encounters and lots of other world/quest items. Also we'll continue our tweaking of the spell system and will continue to make changes there. Our art department is working on getting some long-awaited new monster models, at least some of which should go into the game this week as well. Keep your eyes on the Camelot Herald over the next couple of days, and I'll keep you all posted on exactly what's going into the game when the Pendragon release notes are posted tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday.
