I honestly think the F2P Orks idea is one of the greatest ideas in history. I can't wait to boss the boyz around while drowning the other factions in a sea of green and poorly worded insults. Hopefully all Ork ingame text will automatically be converted to Orky Speek for that little bit of extra flavor. I have a couple friends looking to pick it up too, they'll also be going green. We all might also grab some Chaos characters. I used to play Chaos in tabletop (3rd Ed Daemon Prince so overpowered) so they bring back some memories.

This game is The one i'm waiting for years, if not decades. I'm a huge fan of the w40k world thanks to the tabletop game i started to play nearly 15 years ago.
I played to every w40k made since Dawn of War, and i'm very hopeful with this one.
What i'm waiting the most for is the eldars lore. They are my favourite race, and i love their background. I can't wait to see what they will offer us in this game.
What is the most exciting thing about this game to come? The fact to play in an open world with thousand of other fans.
Ah, and to crush this fool humans/orks in the bloody-handed god hand.

Of course, i hope i'll win the Captain pack, but the Sergeant or even the Warrior would be great ! =D

I am really looking forward to the release of Eternal Crsaude. After 25 years of playing Warhammer 40,000 and playing every video product released, I really think this may the closest thing to realizing the atmosphere and action of the Emperor's Multiverse. My first army was the Eldar (5,000 pts of First Ed. figures alone. Nearly 15,000 if you include the newer stuff I've added since) then came the Squats with the Termite Assault vehicles and attack trikes, then the Red Scorpion Space Marines and lastly, the Praetorian Imperial guard.
Yeah, I know, I need to get a life but in lieu of that, I'd like an Eternal Crusade code.

Playing tabletop and Pc games for over a decade and i still like the concept/franchise and the whole universe very much! Also the Chaos Heresy Books where awesome! I've been into the 40K world since the days of Rogue Trader. 1989-ish if my addled memory serves me correctly. Since then I've collected and painted who knows how many little plastic and metal minis.

Hello WH40K Ethernal Crusade Team, Smiley: bowdown

My name is Max aka. Sevaras i am software developer and 19 years old and ofc. i am a really realy huge fan of all the WH40K stuff. I joined the newsletter from really the beginning i guess and i waited soooo long to be a part of the Beta or even to get the full version of this game. Till now i am playing really often Dawn of War and i sad that the only game i would switch for is Ethernal Crusade. I always had a passion in RPG's. My favorite was Deathwatch and Black Crusade (WH40K ofc.). But in the end Black Crusade because you was able to do even more in the universe and you were able to go other ways what needed a really good gm. xD But heh thats what a RPG night is about! Endless Action. I also played a lot of World of Warcraft and Space Marien for years now. The tabletop was the point on my i as last but its not easy for me to find other players in my location. I hope this game will be something that catches everything in the middle and kick all my other games away and bring me the epicnis from the 40k universe to me at home! Smiley: schooled

I know its not easy for you guys because i know how hard it is to develop something good... I am developer by myself. But i really have trust in you guys and will support you as much as i can! :)
Maybe its a new way to bring something new in the RPG nights for me and my buddys and to find a lot of more guys for something that is more then a game. That moment when you stay brother with brother in the first line! Noone will be able to stop you and your Brothers! Some will fall but we will fight until the last men is dying! Because we fight AS SPACE MARIENS! and that in a MMORPG version EPPPIIIICCCCCC! :D i really can't wait to be on the field!
And to be a part of the beta its maybe the best way to give you guys even MORE inspiration or ideas to make that game to the top! :) There is nothing better then the story of war hammer 40k and that inside of a mmorpg i guess i will be shocked when i am online for the first time! :D So i really would give my best in support and ideas in the forums! I've been a tabletop 40k fan for years and I really love the 40k universe and its dark setting. I'm currently working on an Iron Warriors army while also having an army of Ultramarines. Since I've heard of the coming MMO Eternal Crusade I checked the webside every few days because I'm so excited for more news. And now I finally have the chance to be one of the first people to get the game!
I think the first character I'm going to play will be a Chaos Space Marine (an Iron Warrior) but I'm also going to have Space Marine Character, that's for sure!

So... I hope this is some kind of relevant comment... I'm extremely excited!

I'm very interested to see how a Warhammer 40K action-MMO will play out, especially one with (hopefully) a reasonable pricing scheme (I don't want to see a bunch of item mall junk, cosmetic or otherwise! Convenience is fine, exclusivity is not, in my opinion). Here's hoping for a chance in the drawing. Thank you!

I have always been a fan of sci-fi and fantasy and that is why when i found about WH40k trough the gaming magazine back in 2004 I fell in love. I have played most of the WH40k video games, but I was disappointed that there were no RPG in that universe so I started GM:ing a Dark Heresy campaign with my brothers and immersing my self in the WH40k world. After reading tons of lore, graphic novels and watching lore videos I found myself hungry for more. So I started following the development of Eternal Crusade and I have eagerly waited for a chance to split open the skulls of heretics, xenos and mutants and finally the chance have come and I will be sharpening my chain sword as I wait for the call of the Emperor with the black rage dwelling inside me. For the Emperor and Sanguinius!

Been a 40k tabletop fan for years (as well as fantasy) and a mmo player for almost as long so I was really excited when I heard that Eternal Crusade got the go ahead.
Personally I'm excited to see how the Dark Angels fit in with the fluff for EC as that is the chapter I play.

Actually I started to interest me in the Warhammer 40K Universe just a few years ago. When I was younger, I was a fan of the Dawn of War games, because they were really fun to play. Then, when I started earning some more money, I could afford to buy the miniatures. I'm not much of a tabletop gamer, because the clubs are far from where I live, but I likt to collect and build. So, for now I'm alone, but Facebook let me meet many people that share the passion for Warhammer 40K. I recently joined a group of "Soon to be players", so we are pretty excited and can't wait to start. About the class, I chose Eldar, because they are ancient, powerful, and arrogan in their downfall, but I'm actually hoping that in the future another race will be introduced to the game. I'm talking about the Tau. So, thank you for reading, and keep up with the good work. We are expecting great things from the developers' team.

My first contact with Warhammer 40k was Dawn of War by THQ - and I immediately fall in love with this universum. Humanity, divided by Horus Heresy, fights with innumerable alien - and otherwordly - foes. There is no peace in galaxy, only war and slaughter.
I've stop counted how many books from Black Library I've read so far - but, with every one of them I'm more and more fascinated with this setting.
So, naturally, when MMO Warhammer 40k game was announced, I was so happy - finally the game, in which you can play as brave Space Marine, treacherous Chaos Space Marine, brutal Ork or cunning Eldar.
I'm looking forward especially for Black Legion and Blood Angels - their lore is great, so naturally I want to wage a Long War against loyalists and their corpse god - or fight the traitors with bolter and blade!
I'm counting on you Behaviour Studios - let this game be the best Warhammer 40k game!

Holy crap, I've been waiting for a sweet "real feel" version of 40K as a video game for so very long now! I've been playing the table top for over 15 years now and cannot wait for this game. Getting in on this early would get me tons of nerd credit at the local game store as well as make me feel like a lord wondering around in tactical dreadnought combat armor!

I am sooooo excited for Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade! It seems like I have been waiting years for this game. We knew it had to happen eventually and now the eve of battle draws near!

Been playing tabletop 40k (and almost every other GW game) since I was about 9; I am now 39 and still have the same enthusiasm for the hobby and lore as ever. I could go on for hours about 40k but my story is probably not that different to some of the 'older' guys. Old or young, it seems like I am in good company here and I look forward to getting to know you all.

HI i have found out about Warhammer 40k from Dawn of War 1 and i am fan ever since that moment, reading lore from warhammer 40k wiki and lexicanum i also read some novels from Warhammer 40k universe, i don't own tabletop army but i planning to get some soon.

I have some friend with who i plan to play EC :) , from eternal crusade i expect to bring to life massive and epic battle found in Warhammer 40k universe, with many players fighting each other in the name of the legion they represent. For lore i am sure is gonna be good all announced legion have rich lore and background story, also i found is good that game have rpg elements that open new possibilities for gameplay.

Anyway i can't wait to play Warhammer 40k Eternal Crusade.

P.S. sorry if my english is not so good but it is not my first :)

I've been a 40k fan since i was 15, when i went to military school it help me keep sane by playing matches with my friends both on the video games and the tabletop. I cant wait for this game to come out me and my friends are excited to play this. I'm hoping that the space marine characters will have their chapter flaws, like with my noble and the greatest space marine chapter ever the Blood Angels we will see the red thirst or even the black rage take control of our character. Whether this game become FTP or PTP i will defiantly get this game.

As a boy i would walk in and out of a hobby store wondering what the things in those boxes were
i saw what i thought were army men goblins and the monster from the movie alien i later found out these were space marines orcs and tyranids. I was hooked on the game like a drug when i wasnt playing the tabletop i would play games of all sorts and now with the announcement of eternal crusade im so excited i cant even put it into words so i leave you with this. I am playing original WH40k for almost 13 years. It was always my favourite universe. I have played almost all computer games and I have all roleplaying games. Lots of my friends are interested in Eternal Crusade and after fall of THQ and tons of crapy games this game is spark of light in darkness.

I heard rumors of a 40K MMO years ago and I kept thinking of space marines vs Orks vs imperial guard vs the Inquisition..... This looks like the perfect start to a platform that would allow the entire 40kuniverse to prosper and grow into a massive MMO with every army of 40k representable. I have every edition of every novel from the 40k universe and I believe it is high time that I made my mark personally in this story.

Long live the Emperor!
