Just cant wait to start spreding the justice of the emperor or maybe get in the thick of the fight as a huge warboss who can crush anything under his boots or get stackin the skulls for the skull throne and donething blood to the blood god.(wont be playing as an eldar for sure so nothing on the Smiley: lol)
See you all on Arkhona.

I am excited because the Warhammer universe is filled with very interesting lore and even if you study it for years you can't possibly know everything about it. You always learn something new and fascinating. I am a fan of the game in its various incarnations (tabletop, PC games, RPG's ) for many years and I very excited that I will have the opportunity to live in the Light of the Emperor through this game. I have some friends that will join me and we are already thinking of forming a guild, possibly we might also bring friends from our guild from other games we played in the past. I m looking forward for all the lore the game has to offer, although I m more a Dark Angels and Space Wolves fan. The thing I m looking forward the most in this game is the vast world and the government system which I find very fascinating. I m also looking forward to bring the Emperor's wrath to all the enemies of Mankind.

For Leman and the Allfather!

Eternal Crusade!

Greetings fellow crusaders. I've been a fan of Warhammer 40000 since 5th edition, always loved the fluff and the whole grimdark setting, mixing medieval fantasy with a distant cyberpunk future and its practically limitless possibilities for settings and stories. I collected armies of Orks, Grey Knigths, Dark angels and Word Bearers Chaos Marines. We play 40k with some fellow hobbists friends in my hometown from time to time. I also enjoy reading Black Library novels, amongst my favourites there is Gaunt's Ghosts and many of the Horus Heresy novels, like the First Heretic and Fallen Angels, I enjoy Dark Angel's lore since it's a chapter full of tragedy, betrayal and secrets.

The first 40k games I played were the Dawn of War series, and I've found them fantastic. Then came Space Marine and I loved the smooth mechanics behind it, mixing shooting and close combat, the game was nice but I wished there was more content, specially involving other races/armies. Then, Dark Millenium was announced, and the possibility of an MMO set in the 40k universe, with multiple races and classes sure sounded promising, but sadly it got cancelled and my wish was left unfulfilled.

Then Eternal Crusade was announced, as time went on, I began researching more and more about the project, at first I got excited that there was the possibility of finally having an MMO that also includes the melee/shooting mechanics of the Space Marine game, but with multiple races and also vehicles this time around!. Then I've found out that the developer team is very nice with people, quite open about what they're working on, showing beta and works in progress and constantly interacting with the fans on their forums, making sure the mechanics and setting of the game are respectful with the 40k lore. Plus you can easily tell they're very enthusiasts about what they do and also 40k hobbists/players that are very knowledgeable of its lore, which it's great to see it reflected in what they shown us so far with each class or the new stuff appearing in the store (like Cyborks!!! WAAAGH!!).

Every single news announcement, from concept art to Miguel Caron (awesome guy!) giving interviews explaining what we'll we have in the game made more and more excited about the day I'll finally be able to play a game that you can easily tell it's made with lots of love and respect to its source material and promises a lot of fun with people around the world on a setting that has a nearly infinite potential for stories and missions.

What I'm looking forward? Simply put, to have a great time with a team composed of my hometown friends (I'm slowly recruiting them to sign up for the game) and the rest of the world of course, blasting enemies in the name of the Emperor!! (or perhaps Chaos Gods or other, Gork/Mork, depends what we all decide). Also the fact that Graham McNeill is shaping the stoy gives me anticipation of a superb entry to the 40k lore.
Advance my brothers!

I'm sooo hyped for this game for a long time now :D I'm a huge Warhammer 40k fan since Dawn of War came out, and from that time I got into the possesion of nearly every WH 40k game released on several platforms... Couldn't afford the table top one though :C... I study the lore all the time from book series such as Horus Heresy, or from chapters codex's. Looking forward an WH 40k MMO since THQ (r.i.p.) announced "Dark Millenium" for PC, but the poor fellas never got it done... It's really outstanding that someone seized the initiative, and fulfills this project :D Let the Eternal Crusade come! A full chapter of online battle brothers awaits here for the opportunity to purge the heretics in the name of the Emperor! >:D

Chapter Masters and Phoenix Lords!
# Jun 25 2014 at 5:06 PM Rating: Decent
I first started playing Warhammer on the PC with the Dawn of War series. I came to love the lore and universe and own a vast collection of the written novels on the 40k universe. I've been eagerly awaiting for a Warhammer 40k MMO since the fantasy MMO didn't pan out due to balance issues.

I really hope that the introduction of the rest of the classes for each race and all races to eventually grace the game. I really really want my Warp Spiders! If there was a way to integrate random Hero appearances like those in lore, it would be amazing! Phoenix Lords and lost Chapter Masters....<drool>

Always been a fan of W40k. Was really keen on the last MMO shown at E3 a couple years ago.. that was (to my sadness) scrapped. Also really liked the Space Marine game but the online play was far too laggy to enjoy properly. I'm hoping to get in to this game early and have a look around and then get my friends to start playing. Pretty sure we'll all run with Space Marines.. but Chaos has been my true calling for the other games :P

I've been a huge fanatic of the Warhammer 40k universe for 15 years. I've played the Tabletop Game on and off for quite a long time as well. I have 3,000 points of Space Marines and I'm working on Imperial Guard(Astra Militarum) now. I'm at about 2,600 points and slowly progressing. I've always been told that Imperial Guard were the most expensive army to build but I didn't think it'd be this expensive :). I've read quite a few novels from Black Library as well. I loved the Dawn of War games as well as Space Marine.

I'm excited for Eternal Crusade because it will be awesome being able to go on a crusade to liberate Arkhona into control of the Imperium! Hopefully we'll get to see some of the epic scale vehicles in the 40k universe like Baneblades and the Legio Titanicus Titans! I'm a little sad that we can't play the Imperial Guard as well but then again it would probably be like playing the Marines in the Alien vs Predator game in Multiplayer mode. You would just die every few seconds unless you were driving a Leman Russ.

I really look forward to this game, I've been watching it for about a year now. I've always loved how deep the lore can get when it comes to the warhammer series, I have read a lot of the books, and I still am, it's probably one of my favorite books series. I always enjoyed the the Dawn of war series and Warhammer 40k Space Marine was one of my favorite games. One of the things I look forward to is having the Tyranids out there harassing everyone. The Tyranids are probably my favorite xenos but you don't get to see them much in other games (besides dawn of war 2) and I haven't read many of the books with them in there. I look forward to being able to go HEAD TO HEAD with the Tyranids. I think a lot of the ideas for the game are great too and am just looking forward to it as a whole.

I've been playing Warhammer games in the 40k universe for about 25 years now. From what I've seen and heard, this game is going to be one of, if not the best video game to take place in that universe. Steven Lumpkin described it once as planetside 2 in the 40k universe. Granted, that was him describing it to Luperza, one of the ps2 CMs on a rollplaying show they are on, but from what I've seen and heard, it might be an accurate description of the direction the game is going, at least for the scale and scope. I would love to see this! Several of my friends who I've been gaming with for nearly a decade now are also huge 40k fans, and we've been struggling for years to find a way to have fun in the universe together, as we're all from around the country. This could finally be the game that lets us share that love.

Eternal Crusade will hopefully be the game that most of us in the Warhammer 40K fanbase has been waiting for!

I can't wait because I own almost all of the books published from Black Library, and I enjoy collecting and painting the models!
I really hope that Behaviour adds an Emperor's Children subfaction for Chaos though, as I want to play as a Noise Marine!

See you all on Arkohna!
Tons of potential

The Warhammer IP is solid. Its use is enough to make me look into a game. When it comes to MMOs it takes more than that. The development team has to look like they're passionate and that they have the time and funds to see the game to fruition.

The way these guys interact with their fans is amazing. Seeing unfinished screenshots of the game takes some getting used to because the norm in the industry is to show only the most polished content. It feels great not to be lied to.

It also helps to see these devs are fans of their own game. They want to see it succeed and aren't afraid of asking (or answering) the tough questions. Yeah, I'm excited.

WOOT, Been a fan of the Warhammer 40k universe for the last 14 years. Went nuts with the table top army building 3 different armies to field. Feel lucky that I was also able to pick up one of the limited copies of the Remake Space Hulk that came out a couple years ago. I bounced from the RPGs & Books to the games to even watching the Movie. Got friends hooked on the stuff to the point we battle each other every few months at the local bunker. We are Pumped for this game, especially after having ran havoc through THQ's Space Marine.

May the executions forever be in our Favor!!!
