The Elder Scrolls Online: A Brief PS4 Q&A

Matt Firor, Game Director of TESO, answers nine questions from the community about the PS4 release of the game.

Set to hit consoles this June, The Elder Scrolls Online is going to be an interesting release to watch. To clear up some questions, Matt Firor (Game Director, TESO) sat down and covered a few basic questions specific to the PS4 edition. All-in-all, here's what we learned:

  • You do not need a PlayStation Plus membership to play TESO. You'll still need to cover the same subscription cost as PC/Mac players, but we'd say that was always a given.
  • PS4 players will be separate from PC players, and split between North America and Europe.
  • Zenimax is still tweaking controller configurations, but is happy with how gameplay feels.
  • TESO should grant players enough freedom to play alone if they'd like.

Only bits of information, but it's a start. Keep an eye on ZAM for more in the coming months!
