First Memory: I was in the tutorial zone with my brother, we had created characters at the same time. Having just started playing, we were exploring some of the physics of the game. Naturally, I jumped off a cliff and escaped with minor broken legs. My brother raced after me and fell down the same cliff ... to his death! Needless to say I laughed greatly at his misfortune, and I still joke with him about his lack of survival titles on that character.

Favorite Memory First getting the Mines of Moria box set and being able to get every type of character I desired. I quickly became addicted to alts and I love the completeness having all 9 classes gives me. I was awestruck at how awesome the Warden and Rune Keeper were, even just in the first tutorial!

My first memory in LOTRO is Edhelion with its exciting music and the sense of danger spilt in the air.

My favorite memory is the the last chapters of Book 1 Volume II, when my elf first faced the Watcher in the Water and finally entered into Moria, and especially the movie played in the end with the fantastic voiceover, legendary staff and book, and the sense of thrilling depts and darkness of the lost underground.

First Memory:
My first memories of Lotro was during open beta, logging in for the first time to sensory overload seeing this graphically immense, realistic, and beautiful game. No cartoonish looking characters or scenery, everything seeming so realistic. It hooked me immediately!! This lead to my favorite memory.

Favorite Memory:
After being literally amazed by literally everything I was seeing in middle earth, I immediately got a hold of a group of 5 of my best gamer friends in another game, and told them about Lotro open beta and that should sign up for it. All of them did sign up for it and were blown away by the game. We then as a group embarked to visit Rivendell. We all at the level cap of 15 at the time, ran all the way from Micheal Delving to Rivendell everything purple, trying to kill us, getting lost, taking side roads to see where they lead, falling off mountains, landing in the bear den in the Trollshaws, and getting ambushed by invisible mobs. It was truly amazing, all 6 of us signed up as lifetime founders and we have never gone back to the game we came from or have any interest in leaving middle earth any time soon. This group has been gaming together for 8 years now, and all of us agree that, that run to Rivendell was by far the most favorite memory for all of us. Seeing each new area we came upon was amazing, rich atmospheres, and the detailed mobs. Everything so beautiful and elegant. Thank you turbine for 5 plus amazing years of gaming excellence and happy anniversary.

First Memory - That I actually remember significantly was the expectation and excitement of my first Dwarf called Dion getting out of Thorin's Gate for the first time and going out into the wild. Still one fo my favorite areas of the game.

Favorite Memory - Difficult... I would say as I started playing the game based upon my interest in the books and the films and the prospect of following the fellowships path - the moment I first entered Rivendell. It might not seem much to others, but I was so interested to see how the developers had interpreted it and I remeber first crossing the bridge, the flowers been blown across in front of me, the nosie of the waterfall, the sunlight streaming across. It actually took my breath away and still think it one of the most beautiful areas of LOTRO. Im really looking forward to Amen Hen, as its the last real stop and of course break up of the fellowship. Ive just entered Mirkwood and am still loving the game. Play on Eldar and my char is Zaos, so give me a wave everyone if you see me! :)

My first memory: Character creation! I spent so long creating the perfect incarnation of a character that I had used before for forum RP in Middle-earth.

My favorite memory: Attending a player-organized walk to Rivendell followed by a huge celebration for Bilbo's birthday, complete with fireworks display and a Bilbobaggins burglar stand-in.

My first memory would have to be coming up over the hill from Michel Delving and seeing Hobbiton-Bywater, and my first thought was "I've been here!"

My favorite memory, would be running from Bree to Rivendell after hitting the pre-launch cap of 15 and seeing all those purple mobs and trying to follow the map without dying as I'd never been there yet.

First Memory:
Logging into the noobie world with my brand new elf LM and spending several minutes in wonder at the detail in the snowflakes falling around me in Thorins Hall.

Favorite Memory:
One night we had a scheduled Moors Raid for our kinship as we often do on Monday nights, this particular night our Leader was having connection issues so (even though I protested) the raid of 18 people nominated me their leader for the night. At the time I had the GIANT purple OD shield and a lovely shield symbol over my head. As we're making our way to capture lugz, my partner yells for the raid to FOLLOW THE SHIELD.....just as I led the entire raid up the hill into the lugz rez, getting my entire raid one shotted. At first we weren't sure what happened, some sort of weird lag....then we were dead....So now my kinship regularly screams out for the group to follow the shield...and I've earned my own vent channel...Called...you guessed it Follow The Shield! Fortunately they love me and have great senses of humor :) Love you Redemption of Firefoot!

My favorite memory: When I sucsesfully killed "The watcher in the water" for the 1st time after trying at least 15 previous ones.

My first memory of LOTRO: The twist of story right at the beginning of the game; you're normally taken step by step into happy events when you start any MMORPG; on the other hand, when you start LOTRO you're thrown directly into the story, whether is now, in the present, or in times past; you feel like part of the world since the very beginning.

My favorite memory: While grouping, seeing the main tank fall, me picking up the aggro for a few seconds (I was on-level and very undergeard), buying enough time for our DPS to launch a last arrow and bring down the boss, almost at the same time it took both of us down. We died, sure, but we also took the boss with us. The feeling after that awesome moment was priceless.

My first memory of Lotro was my friend logging into his creep character with words "Lets feed the doggie!". Also he showed me around the Bree town with his main character.
Not that i knew much about the game, creeps or freeps at that time, but Lord of the Rings fascinated me with book and later movies for a long time. So when i finally got the hardware capable of running Lotro, i got invited by my friend to try in in anniversary free week event. And am there since then.

Favourite memory: First time visiting Imladris, It was a hard fight over Bruinen, and thry high moors, i was tired, wounded, out of potions and on countdown on all big skills, but my guardian reached the gates of Imladris, and as i was slowly descending, i took into beauty of the valley opening in front of me. Plus the wonderful music. Its ... no words can describe it...

My first memory of lotro is just me on skype with my friend deciding our characters. I remember choosing a LoreMaster, elf cause I just loved Elves, they are a beautiful and skilled race. And also just my surprise when I saw Elrond, and trolls in the intro, I loved it!

Probably my favourite moment was when I saw durin's bane body outside moria, I got a chill on my skin and imagine my surprise when I had to face him at the top of the endless stairs in the Ost Dunhoth raid.

I don't know why I loved seeing durin's bane corpse more than when I saw Thaurlach in The Rift of NÃ»rz GhÃ¢shu.

I guess is just cause I felt like Gandalf had left him right there.

I just love lotro.

My first memory in LOTRO is when the five NazgÃ»l finish the transformation of Ranger Amdir into a CargÃ»l then putting him out of his misery.

My favorite memory in LOTRO was battling Thaurlach at the end of the Rift of NÃ»rz GhÃ¢shu with my kinship, the battle was amazing, he dropped the Thaurlach's Blade trophy for our kinship house and I won the Edhelharlos earring.

My first memory was doing the Archet Introduction on my Champion, and just enjoying the depth to the main storyline while also having the option to do side quests and such as well.

My favorite memory would have to be standing on Draigoch's head with that same Champion the first time I managed to be in a group that smashed that freakin' thing down to 0 Morale!

My first memory - I was looking at towards Shire from one porches in Dullond (marvelous sight).

My favourite memory - Chicken madness in Bree event of my kin The Last Sons of Gondolin. It is so AWSOME to be lotro chicken. :)

my first memory is how awesome Michel Delving looked. the music and size of it blew me away.

My favorite memory is the 1st time I went to Carn Dum with my guild. The look of it blew me away. Nothing even compared to it til I made it to the First Hall in Moria for the first time. I still go there occasionally just to look at how awesome it looks.

my first memory was getting to Michel Delving and being blown away by the music and how awesome it looked. was truly phenomanol.

my favorite memory is when i went with my guild to Carn Dum for the first time. We did a full clear and I have still yet to be part of any instance as cool as that one. It looks amazing and short of my first time entering the First Hall in Moria, I haven't seen anything that compares to how awesome it looks.

My first memory in LOTRO was going through Ered Luin's opener on my Elf minstrel. I remember being so immersed in the story, so impressed by the sheer sense of being in the world around me and really empathizing with the characters.

My favorite memory in LOTRO was the very first time I stepped into Moria. It was simply breathtaking. I remember wandering through and stopping to peer into the distance and look down into gaping abysses. That sense of wonder still sticks with me in Moria today. The world of Moria is truly epic in all ways and is by far my favorite area of the game.

My first memory - meeting Strider in the Human introduction. To have such a major character in the game universe greet me "personally" so early felt really special.

Best memory - Getting the World Renown title and Eriador Horse-y for my main character felt really special and like a real achievement in the game

My First Memory in LOTRO is creating my first character, an Elven Hunter, and as an Elf, he started off in Ered Luin. I discovered the route to the Shire and I ran him all the way to the shire and found Bag End. That was great!

My Favourite Memory in LoTRO is with my Guardian, Tolkyyn. Getting a Hunter to 75 was very difficult, he had to discover everything, set traps, he died a lot. But with my Guardian, he leveled up without any problems, it was so much more fun! And I made great friends along the way. Discovering Friends, I guess, has been my best memory, although seeing the Shire and Hobbiton and Bag End for the first time really has stuck with me.
