Beta huh.....I call ******** on this game plain and simple.
Having flashbacks of another game where people's Cards were required,then billed over and over and the company closing.
Heatwave is a no-name company.
If this were SOE,Blizzard, etc, I would still wonder why a CC is required for beta, but I would still submit it. For some no-name company I say it's fishy and a joke to even request such.
Just a side note,after selecting a billing form, hit cancel and it takes you back to the login and you can still play

Zam......I am new to you and I like what I see so far, but based on your " IN YOUR FACE TRUTHFUL" approach to gaming and such, I would have expected you to warn members of this. If you do not see anything wrong with a company whom is not even in a tributary that feeds into main stream, asking for credit info for a beta,then maybe your site is NOT what I thought it was.
the game itself ?
EQ2 gets raped by Conan. Engines,models,layout, mixture of both. Nothing is as fun as a world that moves in blinding speed as your character turns left and right as if he is glued to your screen. Sort of like a doll with a stick up it's *** is the way your character is attached to your screen,just like in EQ 1. Horrible.
The CC was the 1st "bad" thing for me.
The fact this game could pass for an expansion with a roman theme for EQ2 was another.
We are supposed to step forward in pressing the boundaries of game development, not backwards
Fail,plain and simple. If it launches,it will be FTP within 6 months.
