GameSpot released the new Trooper class trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic yesterday, and BioWare promised to reveal more information on the front-line class today. The SW:TOR team stuck to its word and has updated the Holonet with all sorts of details on the Trooper. Here's the rundown:

• The Trooper's Advanced Classes are the defensive Vanguard and the offensive Commando.
• Tanno Vik, one of the Trooper's companions, is an ex-military demolitions expert who loves to blow stuff up.
• The Trooper's starship is the high-powered Rendili Hyperworks BT-7 Thunderclap, which is streamlined for fast deployment in combat situations.
• Members of the proud Zabrak race can step up to defend the Republic as a Trooper.
