It's time to really load up on that caffiene, ladies and gentlemen, because Aion's Double EXP Weekend is here, and the team has noted that these will be getting rarer in the future months! Most importantly, with the launch of patch 1.9, the Aion Team has noted that character progression should be smoother and faster, and the Double EXP Weekends were implemented as a temporary solution for the original issue of slow character progression.

Well, with this new improvement with patch 1.9, players can now expect to see less of these Double EXP Weekends, although the Aion Team is quick to note that this does not mean that Double EXP Weekends will go away - they'll just be much more rare in the future. So it looks like if you really want to get ahead, this may very well be your last chance in quite some time!
