Aion's Final "Ask Kinslon" Interview!
In this final week, Aion's Daeva of Journalism gets the skinny on some of the new skills coming in 1.9, as well as new instance info and the UI enhancements
It's the final week of Aion's info-heavy Ask Kinslon interviews, where Aion's Daeva of Journalism, Aquilanius, discusses the upcoming patch 1.9 with Producer Chris "Kinslon" Hager. In this final interview, Aquilanius really gets into the nitty gritty of the new 1.9 skills, including the Ranger's level 48 skill "Fighting Withdrawal," and the differences between that and their pre-existing low level skill "Retreating Slash," as well as touching on some key questions players had about some of the new Cleric changes. Unfortunately, for other classes outside of the Ranger and Cleric, Kinslon only briefly talks about the new stun-removing skills added in the 1.9 update, but no other questions were asked about the other upcoming skills for other classes.
In addition to fielding some questions about Clerics and Rangers (mostly Clerics), Kinslon also talks briefly about the new Dredgion tweaks, including increased AP rewards, lower timers and increased difficulties (more mobs and such). As well, Kinslon touches on the new legendary item series that will be added to the Fire Temple instance, which will be lower level than the "Eternal" weapons that Kromede currently drops, but will drop more frequently (thank God!). Finally, Kinslon talked about the new UI changes coming to Aion in 1.9, including a new LFG function, new changeable / moveable quickbars and a new buyback functionality for all in-game merchants.
