Profile comments temporarily disabled for Aion

Wondering why you can't leave comments on other players' profiles at the Aion Official Website?

Wondering where your "QQ Badges" went? Looking for your wall of pride where other players came to complain about your lame ganking skills? That's right, we're talking about your player profile page, where your angry rifting victims would come to leave comments on your character's profile page to discuss your lack of honor, skill, brains, or all of the above. Up to about a week ago, players were often using these player profiles as mini-message boards by leaving notes on other player profiles; unfortunately, without warning, the messages and the message boards were suddenly taken down.

Of course, Community Manager Tamat was already on the case, and in a forum post, Tamat informed the locals that the Aion team needed to disable the character comment system because "RMT groups were beginning exploit the system to spam keyloggers and other RMT related advertisements. Unfortunately we had no safeguards to prevent this, so the obvious choice was to disable the system altogether until a solution can be implemented." Tamat does, however, stress that the disabling is temporary until the team can figure out a proper solution, so the next time you get unfairly ganked while farming in the Abyss... It looks like you'll have to keep it to yourself!
