SOE reveals Power Girl in DC Universe Online

Power Girl debuts in SOE's monthly character reveal

We all know of bulletproof vests... How about Laser proof chests? SOE's latest character reveal for their upcoming superhero MMO, DC Universe Online, is the "buxom bombshell" Power Girl, also known as Kara Starr. Power Girl has all of a normal Kryptonian's powers under a yellow sun, like super-strength, super-speed, flight and invulnerability, although the team notes that Power Girl's DNA is "slightly different" than Superman thanks to the fact that she hails from a parallel universe. You can read more about Power Girl after the jump.

With this character release, SOE has also thrown out some other Power Girl assets, like Power Girl AIM Icons, Power Girl Wallpapers, and Power Girl iPhone Wallpapers. SOE has also released a bunch of nifty Power Girl screenshots of this busty heroine in action, and you can check them all out in our ZAM screenshot gallery. Wonder who's due for a reveal next?

Power Girl, also known as Kara Starr, is not your ordinary girl, especially since she’s from Earth-Two. She became a protégé of Superman when her mysterious ship crashed on Earth. Under Superman’s guidance, the Kryptonian heroine from a parallel universe joined the Justice Society of America and became known as Power Girl. She lives up to her name, as her great strength and endurance makes her a powerhouse in battling crime alongside Green Lantern, The Flash, and Shazam!.

Power Girl possesses all of a normal Kryptonian's powers under a yellow sun, including super-strength, super-speed, flight, and invulnerability. Even her foes have to agree that she's a knockout in more ways than one.

Power Girl's DNA is slightly different than Superman's, because she's from a parallel universe, and her memories of her origin are sometimes cloudy. Magic and superior force can weaken her, but even these are rarely enough to take this buxom bombshell out for the count.

Now available are AIM icons, Concept Art, Renders, Screenshots, and Wallpapers of Power Girl in our albums. Be ready to be knocked out by her beauty and strength! For the month of March we’re feeling a little mad and the next feature character may be to blame.
