The Star Trek Online open beta ends today, Jan. 26, at 6 p.m. PST, and it looks like Cryptic plans to go out with a bang:

"A massive Klingon Fleet is forming near Qo'noS for an invasion into Federation Territory. Klingon Warriors who wish to join this fleet may rendezvous near Qo'noS at 2pm PST."

The early head start program kicks off on Friday at 10 a.m. for players who pre-ordered the game, which will be followed by Star Trek Online's official launch on Feb. 2.
