Star Trek Open Beta Begins; Faction Page Added

Today marks the launch of Star Trek Online's open beta! You have until Jan. 26 to explore the game during the testing period before it officially launches on Feb. 2. You can check out the open beta FAQ after the jump and download the client through various sites.

In addition, Cryptic has added a factions page to the official Star Trek Online site. You can currently read up on the Federation and Klingon factions, and the Cardassian and Romulan symbols are currently acting as placeholders. Only time will tell when we'll get more information on those two factions. Until then, enjoy the open beta!
