We are aware of a concern over the security of NCsoft Master Accounts and City of Heroes Game Accounts. We would like to take this opportunity to reassure all of you as to the reliability and solidity of the security measures that are in place to protect your personal data. We do however ask for your help to ensure that you never share your login details with a third party and that you do not use the same login details across other games or programs or that you at least change your passwords on a regular basis.

After investigating certain claims regarding current account security we discovered no malicious compromises having occurred in the manner described. None the less, we have added additional logging and security measures to further strengthen existing processes and preventative systems. If you are worried that your accounts may have become vulnerable, we recommend you change your passwords as soon as possible.

We appreciate your concerns and thank you for your continued support.
