Cryptic has announced that applications are currently being accepted for the Star Trek Online closed beta, which will be held later this year. All you need to do is fill out this form and answer some questions. Players will be randomly selected from the pool to participate in the closed beta. If you don't have one yet, you'll need to register for a Cryptic account before you can fill out the application form.

Players who purchased either the six-month or lifetime subscription offers for Champions Online have already been accepted to the closed beta. Those promotions ended on Aug. 31, so the only current way to apply for the beta test is to fill out the form.
