The free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited is set to launch right around the corner on Aug. 4 for DDO VIPs and Aug. 6 for everyone else, but until those dates arrive, Turbine has opened the Unlimited beta to all active subscribers.

While the team finishes the final test run of the F2P model, DDO players with paid accounts in good standing can now access the Lamannia server or post on the beta forums. These paid accounts will convert to VIP when DDO Unlimited launches, giving subscribers access to the early Aug. 4 launch date.
