Hi-Rez Studios announced that Global Agenda recently earned "Game of the Show for E3 2009" by MMORPG.com. In a press release, Hi-Rez Studios said, "We're both thrilled and humbled by this honor, especially given the other great games that were considered. We're doing all we can to live up to growing expectations!" A substantial chunk of new content was unveiled at E3, as well as new gameplay features.

In addition, the latest issue of Hi-Rez Studios' email newsletter, "The Dossier," contains an update from Executive Producer Todd Harris. "The wait is almost over!" Harris said. "The Global Agenda Closed Beta Testing (CBT) phase is fast approaching and the entire Studio is busy as we prepare to move to this next critical phase. In this edition of the Dossier, you will find new details around our Closed Beta plans." The newsletter directs registered beta users to visit the official beta site, and welcomes new users to apply for the closed beta. The "new details" may be referring to this interview with Harris conducted by I4U.com, which was recently posted on Hi-Rez Studios' website.
