Two new updates to the Champions Online site introduce a hero and show how the game's community has made its mark on Millennium City.

The newest hero profile introduces us to Kinetik, the fifth Champions member. Thanks to an accident that occurred while he was working at Dew Chemical, Brendan Grant has incredible speed. He can both move and think faster than normal humans. He became a hero to follow in his parents' footsteps, who died in during the Battle of Detroit while trying to protect him and his sibling.

Also, the game's team has announced the winner of its Urban Planning Contest, in which players were asked to name a park in Millennium City. The park will be named "Sakura Park," since "Sakura" roughly translates to "cherry" and the entire park is filled with cherry trees. The first three winners are getting a beta key and a signed Champions poster. However, more than 150 entrees referenced "Sakura," so they're all getting beta keys, too!
