I realize that Master of Orion 3 isn't an MMORPG, but for most of us gamers, MOO is as classic as D&D, CIV, and DOOM. I couldn't even begin to count the hours and days spent trying to master the galaxy in the original game nor those spent attempting to jump to the Antarian homeworld with a fleet large enough and advanced enough to defeat the evil creatures and be pronounced Master of Orion. The highly anticipated (and continously delayed) sequel to Master of Orion 2, Battle for Antaries, is finally nearing completion and may be released as soon as the 4th quarter 2002. Since there are only about seven weeks left this quarter, it may be very soon!
