#1 Sep 26 2005 at 12:58 PM Rating: Decent
Hello, everyone! I am an officer in the guild, Zen Shadows on The Bazaar server and we are currently recruiting. The guild started Sept. 9th, currently has 53 members, and has already reached lvl 7. Our goal as a guild is to become a high lvl raiding guild and if anyone is interested in joining our ranks contact me (Farwitai), Shalien (guild leader), Dolni, or any of our other members you meet.

ZING... Bada Bing !!!

Don't know that I could ever feel at home on a server where all it took to achieve greatness was some room on the old Visa card.

I think I would always wonder if the people I was grouped with had any real level of skill or had just thrown money at the endevour.

I've always wondered though, if I could play on a server like that and make money, real money. It would be funny if I could play games for a living. I wonder how much rares and fabled items are selling for?

I imagine it must be pretty viscious, fighting over loot, as it has even more perceived value.

I'll stick to a non-paying server for my enjoyment, but I still wonder...

Might be funny but my guess is it would soon cease to be fun.

Seems to me that no matter how cool your job is, if you have to do it 5 days a week, it is no longer cool to you... it's just your job.

Case in point, I work in the film/TV business and most of the people I meet outside of work have the same basic comment... "Oh, that's so cool... you get to watch movies for a living... I wish I had your job."

Well, the reality is not quite so glowing. While I do enjoy my job and while it does beat most anything else I could imagine doing for a living, at the end of the day it is still my job. After 8 hours, I still want to shut down my computers and go home to a nice dinner and a relaxing evening.

I can't imagine making logging on and grinding out XP and loot a daily requirement... I think that would take all the joy and wonder right out of the equation.
