To our great relief, Elia and Sir Gregory have agreed to return to service. The news of this has greatly improved morale here in Ludlow, where Golestandt continues flying overhead sporatically, threatening us with his very presence. The villagers have declared a feast day for the two, to welcome their return. We plan to be doubly vigilant for that dark stranger who caused them grief to begin with.

A long expedition to Gjalpinulva’s  lair has revealed something unexpected and shocking. From a safe distance, our hunters have discovered that the Drakulv have been building a nest. The construction went up quickly and until now we have only speculated that it was a nest, but recent reports have described what can only be eggs within this nest. One of our hunters claims he saw an egg moving, as if ready to hatch, but that has been dismissed as impossible. Dragon eggs take far longer than just two weeks to hatch.

Our suspicions regarding the work of the glimmers seem to be true. The construction in Cuuldurach’s lair is indeed a nest, and is now filled with eggs. The eggs, it is reported, seem to be coated in some magical substance which is similar to that which was recently found on some of the glimmers who were slain by our men in the area recently. We are sending a sample to the scholars, along with this report.
