Couple of Live Updates
There were a couple of live updates made while most of you were playing, and in case you missed it here they are, both by Matt at the Camelot Herald
First:
We're putting up a "rolling" patch, which will involve four servers or so being taken down at a time late this morning to fix a couple of problems introduced in the 1.46 patch.
The problems to be fixed are:
- One of the Friar endurance self-buff spells was incorrectly set to be a regular (i.e. with a 3 second casting timer) spell. It was intended to be an insta-cast shout. This has been fixed.
- Spell Resistance information was not printing correctly in the Resistance window. This has been fixed.
- Charmed creatures were being intially set to "Aggressive" mode. This has been fixed - they now default to "Defensive" mode when they are charmed.
- Players with an extremely large number of abilities (as in some high-level druids and other buffing classes) could not see some of them print in their abilities list - you simply couldn't [page down] enough to get to them. We now allow you to [page down] far enough to see all your abilities.
Second:
We've done a couple more tweaks on the live servers to fix a couple more spell problems that have cropped up in the last few hours. These fixes have already been done.
The fixed problems are:
- The Friar's Saint's Energy and above endurance regeneration spells now set properly. Previously, they were erroneously set to a value that was too low. You'll now see them have more effect.
- The Friar Endurance Regeneration spells now can be cast while in combat.
- The Mentalist Illusory Enemy line has had its spell point round cost increased. This is to keep the charmed creature from being charmed indefinitely - Mentalists are intended to use this new charming system as a shorter-duration pet, not as a long-duration one. This change makes a charmed creature controllable for about 1 1/2 minutes, which is enough time for a Mentalist to get out of a sticky situation. Please note that this change is for Mentalists only. Minstrels can hold their charm indefinitely, although the monster has the chance to resist from time to time.
