From SE: Since the implementation of the latest version update on Jul. 18, 2005, the following quest related issue has been discovered. Maintenance to address this issue was performed on Jul. 25, 2005 at 2:00 (PDT). -After making a request to the "An Affable Adamantking?" NPC for a new quest item, and then speaking to the "A Moral Manifest?" NPC, players will obtain an incorrect item and will no longer be able to receive the correct item from the original NPC. This issue also occurs when making a new item request to the "A Moral Manifest?" NPC, then speaking to the "An Affable Adamantking?" NPC. * For players who have obtained the incorrect item and have yet to complete the quest, the correct item may be obtained by trading the incorrect item to the original quest NPC.

I saw something like this comming eventually. the past 2 days me and a few of my friends would dc out of the blue and last night around 3am we had two entire pt dc's. So today maybe around 2 or 3 i was running to go spawn a nm in carpenter's landing and i got booted. At that time i couldnt get on due to POL- 1160. Now for the past 2 hours or so i have gotten POL - 0021. I also have verizon dsl so not really sure whats going on... i wanna spawn my nm lol

glad i checked here instead of throwing my ps2 out the window,im a Verizon dsl user as well, and got booted at 5:00 pm est, same time as update

I currently work for verizon on the dsl lines, and I am sorry to report.. there is nothing wrong with the server or the lines.. I admit we do have problems but they are usually with the copper lines between you and the server. High heat and humid causes bad communications.

Bleh, Verison sux. But sadley its the best thing available in my area. My internet works. But I cant get onto POL website. And like you all. Cant log into POL.

I work for verizon dsl tech support *or i did before i got fired* while working there for over 9 months i found out that our servers suck *** end of story nuthing else we can do... GL^^ no use in call them.. they will tell you what i did call your PC vender and have a good day ROFL.. they are so useless :P glad I left. O btw if have and more questions just send me a message ^^

ok so are ALL of us currently booted Verizon customers? neither my PC nor PS2 can get in, and u cant get playonline.com because is a japanese site. according to pol, our weak Verizon signals ain't makin it all the way to Japan, and therefore to our respective servers. anyways, MUFASTA I AM SOOOOO SORRY.... i'm the whm in a 5-1 party, got booted just as we were going to start. man i should never have switched form comcast :(

Is anyone else gettin disconnected ALOT and today I been kicked out of final fantasy directly to POL on a couple ocassions, didn't even get a a lost connection. It was like a lost full screen without the losing the full screen >.<

I have no clue whats going on cause i'm just walking around talking th my LS and then I get disconnected by a POL and the whole playonline screen would just go away without signing out correctly =(

Yeah, they forgot that 'Verizon DSL members are constantly getting disconnected and we are too lazy to do crap.' Issue a lot of us seem to be getting...
