Sanya Said Something is Fruity with the Net

On the Developer's Round Table, Sanya posted that there was a problem with internet and that it might affect Dark Ages of Camelot. However, the good news is that it didn't and all is well now. I would have posted this to the Herald, but I can't get to it =/ Essentially, there seem to be problems with the internet very close to Mythic, affecting a pretty large number of people. I do not know the cause, who it's affecting, or whose fault it is. Either way, the network studmuffin is on it like a pit bull on a pork chop, hang in there. Oh, and by the way, while I'm here and all, changes to Pendragon are *not* changes to the live game. There is a LOT of testing that we need done before a big change goes up. Logs are welcome, as are thoughtful emails and comments from people who have tried the changes. If we need to, we'll delay the change from test to live until we've got the big picture. Edit: 5:39 EST - Our servers never went down through the whole thing, but the problem appeared to be close to us. It also seems to have resolved itself. The network guy said, for the benefit of the tech people among us, that there were Level3 problems. Edit to patch comments: No final decision has been made as far as how certain changes will be implemented. We really want to see how it works out large scale and how much it impacts the game before we decide what goes live. I'm keeping a little tally sheet of people's responses in email and threads.
