does annyone have the <pos> for the rare items in the dangons. i'm making a ton of money by playing as my mule ^^ yes i know its wrong but who cares... i made 20k just playing as one of the races. anyways
the problem comes in were the rare item actualy is. even thou for the most part i found all of them ecept for Beutistx(SP) yeah not good with names...

does anyone have the <pos> for it ... i think there is about 5 other people lost as well

Ugh, it started, and man, it's hectic. This was just the first day. What'cha gotta do is get party with one other person that is a different race than you, and talk to Moogle. He will give you invisible and sneak (which don't wear off, unlike the spells or items, they can only be debuffed), a glyph to get you back to the city, and sends you to a dungeon. There is also a level restriction... you get knocked down to level 1. You have to find your way through the dungeon and find the "GoalPoint" with your partner. Then you get an item and a key item, which is a drawing of your parter's scared face. Trade the regular item with your parter, and trade that to Moogle, and he'll give you a Yukata (which is like a Kimono. Male characters get blue ones, while female characters get pink ones.) Then you can do the same thing again, but four more times, and get the Lord's/Lady's Yukata, which has one more Def, and adds +2(?) to goldfish scooping skills. Yes, that's right, goldfish scooping. Apparently there is going to be an event in which you have to... well, scoop goldfish, and this Yukata gives you an edge (this is what I gathered from listening around the Moogle, it may or may not be true, but it makes sense.) There is supposedly a "Fan" that you can get, but I haven't seen one, nor do I know what you get if you trade in all 7 different items. This is all I know, but DAMN it's hard to get parties with all of the different races/genders because they're all stingy and won't party with you if you're of a race/gender combo that they've already partied with. Also, there is no level requirement to do this; there were several people with "?"'s by their names that were dressed in these Yukatas. More events are sure to be added in the comming days. I swear that in Sandoria all the people were crowding so much people were dying of Suffication in the game then when I go to play as my mule character who's in windurst its like everyone's spaced out. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH DIABOLOS!?

Wheres all the bazaars they've been yacking about for the past couple weeks are they in Ronfaure or something cause I can't find any new bazaars in sandoria and where the crap is the fishing game!!??

HI! Summerfest is great! but im wonderin how u get that second Yukata the lord's one?? I got the first one but it wont give me the second for some reason any help on this?

I'm at work right now but am curious to know if this has actually started yet. Can anyone confirm, or does anyone know exactly when it will start today?

I really want to get pictures for this event to show to some of my friends who don't play, but I'm wondering how do you take a in game picture with the PS2 controller cause I don't have a key board. I do have the PC version but its so laggy its not really worth it.

I think there will be some events outside the citys like booths and bazaars and if thats going to happen then SE will probably take out monsters in the areas it takes place. But I doubt they'd do it even though it would be cool to have a japanese type festival in West Rounfare

I wonder what the Omina and Onoko Yukata's will look like? Also I wonder how we'll be able to play that goldfish catching game? Cause if the Lord and Lady Yukata's improve catching skills its obvious they'll have that game.

it might be hard for some to believe but there is a growing crowd of younger players. now when i say younger i dont mean those just below the legal drinking age i mean as in example, my nextdoor neighbor's kid at age of 6 is playing ffxi. sure people can use profanity and such, but really.. they are rude and i consider them to be scum. the closest you'll see to beer in ffxi is maybe rootbeer. lets face it people.. america is too politically correct to do such a thing.(yes i am an american i live in new jersey:P) our society , believe it or not, is too hush hush and sheltered for this to be allowed.


P.S. you can thank nacy regan, tipper gore, and their lapdogs for creating such a sheltered nation. I hope this elaborates on the subject of why beer isnt in the game. who knows maybe square will have the balls to oppose such things \(*^_^*)/
