at least they put the two dark elf options on the same side of the tree diagram.
I'm sticking with my original prediction that it's a pointless exercise with dark elf ranger in the mix of the format they chose to do this. They would have been better off naming it ahead of time instead of froglok monk.
I would have preferred a straight-up poll by account of all the combos they deem viable (large race casters don't have graphics for example so they'd be out) with the top 5 selections all getting in this anniversary based on total votes.
We'd still have dark elf ranger, but at least I could hope for 1 or 2 things I might actually want to play.

First round voting results are in for EverQuest's hunt for a new race/class combination.
The Dark Elves have it! The results of the two First Round matchups in EverQuest's hunt for a new Race/Class combination:
- Dark Elf Ranger vs. Vah Shir Druid, with the winner: Dark Elf Ranger
- Dark Elf Bard vs. Erudite Rogue, with the winner: Dark Elf Bard
These two combinations will face off in the semi-finals at a later date; likewise for the winners of the Second Round, voting for which continues through Wednesday, December 18.
