EVE: The Second Decade Ship Date Announced

Limited Collector's Edition heads out to fans from October 24

There’s good news for capsuleers today, with the announcement of a ship date for EVE: The Second Decade Collector’s Edition. Created to celebrate ten years of pilots roaming New Eden, this special pack will be heading out to fans from October 24. CCP have also shared that two distribution hubs will be used, based in Atlanta, USA and Nortorf, Germany, to get them delivered as swiftly as possible.

Announced during EVE FanFest earlier this year, the Collector’s Edition will include a hefty hardback book chronicling the history of CCP’s unique MMO, together with a USB hub in the shape of a RIfter, one of the most iconic ships in the game.

The set also includes an English edition of the Danger Game, a board game developed and sold to raise funds for EVE’s development. It became so popular in its native Iceland that one in seven households own a copy. A recording of EVE music performed by the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra rounds out the collection of physical items, together with a mix of digital extras for EVE Online and DUST 514.

Also added to the EVE Store is the Collector’s Edition Promo Pack, containing all of the pre-order digital exclusives that are also available with the Collector’s Edition. Bundled in the pack is a money-off certificate for the full boxed edition, should you choose to level up your purchase.

With the pre-order bonuses now including a pair of Genolution implants, CCP are promising to reveal even more goodies for the Second Decade Collector’s Edition in the near future.
