March 30th Patch Notes

March 30, 2004 We have improved collision checking. System perfomance should be improved. Rogue Combat Abilities --------------------------- We have made the following changes to the rogue Sneak Attack line: Sneak Attack will now make your next backstab attempt always hit and do extra damage. You may only use a Sneak Attack ability after being hidden for a few seconds. Once you become visible, you must attack quickly or the advantage will be lost. This change affects the following abilities:
  • Sneak Attack
  • Thief's Vengeance
  • Assassin's Strike
  • Kyv Strike
  • Ancient: Chaos Strike

You would THINK that they would either FIX the login server or add more. Everytime they have patched for about the last four months has caused serious issues with the login server. Gettin kinda tired of reaching GM status in "1001:Unable to connect to login server, why not stop playing eq and get a real life" or even worse get booted out of game during a raid in someplace like Tactics and not be able to log back in for three hours.

Im not a rogue but this new ability / skill sounds to me like a great addition and more in line with the RPG elements of the class. At last SOE add something to the game that falls well within the class role =)

The mobs are in the zone they are just under the world. They done another patch and fixed it. There are still a bunch of bugs I have noticed a 'skipping' of mobs alot even on flat terrain where a mob will warp a few feet all of the sudden makes kiting deadly.
    Nothing to Collide

Since the patch the zones seem real empty. There are no MOBS to collide into anything.
