StarCraft World Championship Series American Regional Finals June 1-2 !
It is pretty hard to miss the StarCraft II World Championship Series if you ever visit Twitch.TV, but if you somehow did, now is the perfect time to tune in! The top players the world over have clicked it out and we're already down to the final 16. On Saturday June 1 and Sunday June 2, we will witness an epic; the top players will do battle live in-person at the MLG Studio in the American Regional Finals.
First, to see who makes it to the Regional Finals be sure to watch the Round of 16, full of talent, with players such as Korean legend NesTea, Canadian superstar Scarlett, Australian star mOOnGLaDe and American hope Suppy. The Round of 16 will be broadcast live May 20 – May 23 at 6pm, as always on the WCS America livestream.
The top 8 players will go through to the Regional Finals, the top five finishers of the Regional Finals will advance to the WCS Season 1 Finals.
MLG casters Axeltoss and Axslav will be joined by special guest commentators Mr Bitter and Rotterdam. Anybody familiar with eSports will know what a treat this story-telling duo is, but for those of you who are not, they are two of the most loved commentators for their hilarious stories and chemistry; definitely a good introduction to StarCraft II if it's your first time.
