Infiltrators find themselves being nudged out of their traditional role as a critical strike killer and into a new role as a “pajama tank”. Contributing to this shift towards the pajama tank are growing problems with both the delivery of hidden strikes and the damage they produce, and the growing size of the “stealth war” which focuses on an assassin’s ability to melee down other stealthers, frequently without the benefit of hidden strikes. In the stealth war, infiltrators perform generally better than their Hibernian and Midgardian counterparts, primarily due to their spec point advantage and dragonfang.
