Razer League of Legends Cup Announced

Razer announce sponsorship of the 2013 iSeries League of Legends Tournaments

While the UK scene is one of the weakest in competitive gaming, things are on the up! Razer, in partnership with the UK's largest LAN events; iSeries, have announced headline-sponsorship of the Razer League of Legends Cup for all iSeries events throughout 2013. In addition to the £2,500--around $3790--prize pool for the i48 Razer League of Legends Cup, teams who sign up will have a chance to be invited exclusively to a live pre-qualifier at the Razer Bunker in London's Tottenham Court Road PC World, where they will play for over £2,000 worth of prizes and a free team entry to Multiplay i48 and the Razer League of Legends cup.

Razer will join an array of sponsors getting involved in the UK scene, such as the recently announced £10,000 ESET StarCraft II Tournament for i48, this is what Darren Roberts, Razer UK Sales Director had to say:

“We are thrilled to be sponsoring the iSeries and to put the Razer name to the League of Legends tournament. We know so many of the players and teams are already huge Razer fans and we are thrilled to be able to show our support and commitment to gamers of every level and the competitive teams out there."

The Razer League of Legends Cup has no entry level, players of all skill have a shot at that £2,500. Taking place between March 22-25 at the Telford International Centre, Shropshire, the Insomnia Gaming Festival hosts four days of 24/7 gaming festives.
