Feast your eyes on the first screenshots for SMITE, Hi-Rez Studios' upcoming DotA-inspired battleground game. That's the goddess Kali above, and Odin's the god below who's fighting the cyclops. You can click on either image to view the full screenshot.

Hi-Rez has released these images because it will be showing off a playable version of SMITE for the first time at Gamescom, which runs from Aug. 17-21. Expect to hear more about this mythical action game in the near future.
