You must first change your password before you'll be able to login to your game!

Sony Online Entertainment announced around 4:15pm PDT today that it is beginning "phased restoration" of its game services. Also announced is a Welcome Back Program which will compensate every Station Account in good standing with 45 days of game time as long as the account is logged into by 11:59pm PDT on August 31, 2011. In addition to game time, here are some highlights of other special items and events being offered:

Station Access Subscribers: 500 Station Cash (account must be in good standing)
Lifetime Subscribers: Select amounts of in-game currency (CWA, DCUO and Free Realms only)
EverQuest: Double XP, Double Rare Mob Spawns, Double Faction Gains (May 14 - May 22)
EverQuest II: Double XP, Double Guild XP, Loot Bonanza, City Festivals and Moonlight Enchantments, Original Aether Races (May 14 - May 22)
Free Realms: Free Daily Items, 7 total (May 14 - June 15)
Vanguard: Double Adventuring/Crafting/Diplomancy XP, Double Faction Gains (May 14 - May 22)
DC Universe Online: Two-Face Inspired Mask, Batman Inspired Mask, Marks of Distinction (granted to all existing characters)

When I try to change my password I type in my old password and the new one twice. Then the website pauses for about a minute and the comes back with an error asking me to try again later because it could not process my request. There is also a suggestion that I contact online support.

I tried to contact the support through the website but I can't submit a ticket without being logged in which I can't do without changing my password.

It sounds like some people were able to reset their passwords from the comments above so I am stumped as to why I an unable to.

i went to try and log into LON after reseting my pw for eq and somehow it screwed up my saved password, i then had to change the pw again to get in .then tried LON and it screwed up my password again and i cant change the pw for 24 hours. anyone have any problem like this?

Changed my password successfully, but after I log in and a systems scan starts, I get the following message:

There was a problem decompressing the file C:\EverQuest II\lp_temp\LegendsOfNorrath\LegendsOfNorrath.dll_delta_10509_126.gz.

Update fails, starts again 5 seconds later and keeps looping until the program times out.

Help. Please. I havent played since three weeks BEFORE the game went down and I'm jonesing bad!

Delete the file(s) it's erroring out on and that should fix the issue.

Also check out http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=499969 people in that thread were having issues with a LoN DLL file.

Everyone should go to https://auth.station.sony.com/login (or your game's respective web sites) and change their password. You *MUST* do this before you will be able to login to your games!

I tried using the old login style and kept getting the could not connect message. So i had to break down and get the station launcher and was able to log in(after the password change that they send u too).

Unable to log on the station Launcher. getting a error. tried eq2 logon and it said I didn't m,atch the server. ?
useing the manual patcher file from Dir folder, will repost if it does not work. WB everyone to both eq1 and 2 :)

I have updated station launcher , updated my passsword , finally resubscribed (I was off for 2 months due to health).
It showed the next renew would be in November for some reason.

I have 500 station cash in my account

I am patching EQ atm , havent used that in awhile
