NCsoft just announced that Aion Update 2.5, also known as the "Empyrean Calling" update, will be hitting the public test server on May 12. Once the PTS opens, players will be able to take advantage of the "Crazy Insane Boosted XP" event to level quickly and a "Super-Duper Goody Bag" survey to purchase skills and gear more easily.

Also, the team has decided to offer a promotional pricing plan for the paid character transfer service when it launches on April 27. Players can purchase a transfer for the discounted price of $15.99 until May 24. Once the promotion ends, the price will be bumped up to $24.99.
