Trion to Open 31 New Servers for Rift's Launch

Trion Worlds just announced that it will be opening 31 new servers to coincide with the official launch of Rift tomorrow, March 1. That brings the grand launch total to 99 realms: 58 for North America and 41 for Europe.

The number of servers could easily shoot above 100 as Trion Worlds monitors the game's population post-launch. James "Elrar" Nichols, Rift's new assistant community manager, said that the team will be updating the the realm list on the official forums as new shards are opened.

Keep track of the official server list throughout the launch for any additions, and keep an eye on the shard status page to view the population, queue size and maintenance status of all North American and European servers. Just keep in mind that the new servers won't be added to the status page until they officially open tomorrow.

This is fan-!@#!@#!-tastic.
I would really like to spend my evenings playing Rift and not sitting in Qs ><

(because when I try to log in, only like 3 realms are ever "open" and they are usually High in population)
